5:59 I keep my pokemon from evolving so I can keep the abilities (pickup, get away, etc.)

That last meme made me realize something. So many things we love may never be understood by our children and grandchildren, because of how quickly they fade out of relevancy. While many people do end up growing out of Pokémon, there are still a lot of adults that still enjoy the games and will likely look fondly upon it later in their years, and they will get to enjoy it with their children, unlike so many other activities. It's like sports and other traditional family pastimes. I have just realized the true meaning of family entertainment. Not only is it enjoyable for old and young alike, but transcends generations. That is beautiful.

Holy shit, I feel the last meme on a spiritual level, I’m not even an adult yet but my younger cousin came up to me one day and told me about how he started to like Pokémon, my reaction was about the same as the dad. Also for the kid that got his collection stolen I am so sad, I brought my cards to school one day and they got stolen, over 1k worth of cards gone. I build up my collection again and it’s worth even more than before, I haven’t bought cards in over three years now but this video makes me want to open a pack, my friends going to Japan this summer, maybe I’ll see if he can buy a few for me while he’s there and I can pay him back for them.

I think ash carried mewtwo over his shoulder when mewtwo somehow got injured.

I literally made a shiny Rayquarizard when I was in Highschool with my old computer when I was barely starting to use my drawing tablet, since they were both black when shiny. The fact someone bootlegged an actual fusion of them for sale is sending me. It looked almost the same as mine lmao. But I never posted it and lost my computer to shortage and dust and outdated hardware, so I know it wasn't a novel concept. Still got a kick out of seeing this video and that specific meme though. Like I'm honestly shocked that something I drew in 2011 exists as bootleg merchandise completely independently of myself. Fantastic.

Bro you are good man we need more people like you. You cold’ve kept all those cards but you gave them to people who wanted them. I have done close the same but just to my younger brother who is really into the anime but didn’t realize there were cards. I started to show him my cards and would let him look at or use any of my cards but 1. The Clawf alt art that I got from a single pack scarlet violet base set. I have only opened one pack of s&v.
