@@MRGandeeif you actually think it’s “terrible”, then you are clearly showing your inexperience. It is by far not a terrible set. Just open up Pokellector and look at all the beautiful illustration rares. But if you mean, it’s not as good as other sets, then that makes some sense.

Same thing with SV base man... horrible set, but you can get boxes for like 85-90USD right now... downside risk is extremely minimal

Astral Radiance was under printed and its actually a very nice set with stunning artworks. Well done to anyone who bought into AR. I think it'll do very well long term. Good video man. 👍

Any printing business runs on aiming to set up a single quantity run as for uniformity and quality control, with all the additional printing machines TPC has established pre S&V dictate that plan on keeping the “reprint model” that seems stressful on their staff and maintaining the same quality over multiple runs. As they become increasingly profitable it’s not hard to see this being a goal. Thus causing a massive shift in market expectations. Imagine a no future reprint announcement? More so imagine their future printing expansion or past expansions, since we have no information from TPC all we can do is imagine.

Paldea evolved, paradox rift and temporal forces are the best sets in S&V era to date

What are your thoughts on the future of the collectibles market after Saudia Arabia didn't renew the petrodollar? No one seems to talk about this as it's going to show how weak the American dollar is. Collectibles are usually the first to go in these type of situations. It also didn't help that they printed the dollar into the ground the last 4 years. This is why my portfolio is mostly precious metals. I do own collectibles and stocks but collectibles is only about 5% of it

@joelwebb4471 I still like physical assets like collectibles. No matter the currency they are traded in they will be valued by rarity and or scarcity relative to demand for them. That's my opinion.

Astral radiance completely underrated!!!! Have 5 cases £550 a case can’t go wrong aswell as a bit of all the other sets sealed S and v era is shaping up nicely will be the same talk in a few years about s and v base when all the kids that play the game want to have the starter cards

I'm sure some will come but I also think with 8 total sets in SV counting specialty sets of PF and 151 and another one on the way it seems unlikely all of them will get a reprint at this point. That's my opinion..

True but you can’t buy products of sword and shield base anymore, you can still find almost all the other sword and shield sets

Local family dollars have sleeved hanging packs of Base set SWSH in my area.

No one has explained why sword and shield base has grown this much.

1 reason, scarcity. It came out during the pandemic and never got a reprint so there is a lot less of it out there than the other sets.

Im not giddy upping to get this base set at all lol

Every set will go up when scarcity hits, which hits every set eventually. But some sets will rise more if the set itself has a lot of hits. But yeah, I think too many people over think it. It's also why I have no problems dipping a little into every set. Cause I will get a return on every set. Even Rebel "Trash" is over MSRP right now, and that set is legit dog water. It's not a great play now, but every set no matter how bad will rise in price over it's MSRP as the availability dries up. Again, it's why I dip into every set at MSRP. I will at worst get double what I spent anyway. Even on a bad set. Just a matter of waiting for supply to inevitably dry up.

I tried that. They came all damaged and not packaged well so never will I buy from pokemon center again.

Paradox will do fine. Brilliant Stars will be HUGE in a couple years, and crown will be the next Hidden Fates. I think anything past Paldea Evolved is too new right now, and the incoming housing crash will make Pokemon cards plummet for a year. That’s my prediction. Great video ma man! FOLKS!!
