Your Boi Speaking of emotion, intesive motion, if there really is going to be a diamond and pearl remake, Nintendo should put this in when the gym leader is at his/her last pokémon. Or better yet, when you're on your last pokémon for more emotion, and showing that you can still win. (I say that because me and a friend were battling each other once and he had one pokémon left and still managed to take out my last three... We eventually tied because he used relic song...)

what has me sad is the reason they didnt put this in any other gen after 5 is because “everyone speeds through the gym leaders”. theres a reason and thats cause they’re kinda forgettable with forgettable fights imo gen 5 had the perfect pre battle, during battle and post battle dialouge to keep things fun with harder than usual pokemon to lvl up which made gyms a fun challenge. when you get to this song it pumps you up and its fun! the last pokemon in gen 5 for a gym leader was always crazy strong, which made it even MORE fun!!

Tbh in Black and White, you actually have meaningful interactions with the gym leaders for the first time outside of their gyms taking care of business, and they're much more involved in the game which gives them a sense of character other Pokemon games don't quite bring about. Like working through Pinwheel Forest with Burgh to defeat Team Plasma, Elesa helping to solve the rift between Bianca and her father and finding Skyla at the top of Celestial Tower helping an injured Pokemon. They had lives and were strong in their convictions. I maintain the opinion that Gen 5 did way more things right than wrong

Ikr now a days the gym leaders are easy but back then they were a big challenge

To be honest i found the actual gym leader theme song quite forgettable . UNTIL i heard this song in their last pokemon and things went all the way around VERY quickly. I was so amazed by this theme i didn't even want to end the battle not the first, but all the times i fought against a gym leader. For me this is the beast that could be added to a gym leader's battle music. I really, really, really don't understand why this is not in the 6 gen, not even as an option during online PPS matches. It would blow my mind if i saw this theme again in future pokemon games. I don't know if i'm exaggerating or not, but this is by far my favorite piece of video game soundtrack of all time.

Rodi *SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMEEEE*!!!!!!!!!!! This song got me so pumped up when I first heard, it really got me in the mood and made me look forward to gyms! This song alone made the gen 5 better in my opinion. It's you and the gym leader, it was hard fought, but you finally made it to their last and strongest pokemon. You are closing in on victory, but you have one final hurdle, as you give it your all! I really love this theme! Btw, sorry for the long comment, this song just gets me so hyped, and yeah I mabye exaggerating, but so what?

I'm with you man, I played gen 4 games when I was a kid so i didn't fully appreciate this theme but when I heard it a few years later I got massive goosebumps. Nothing beats this music for me.

Here's an Idea gamefreak. Put "Decisive Battle" in Pokémon Sun and "Victory before your eyes" in Pokémon Moon.

Fire Red/Leaf Green was released 6 years away from Red and Green's release in Japan. Heart Gold/Soul Silver was released 10 years after from Gold and Silver. Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl was released 14 years after Diamond and Pearl. Taking into account the 4 year difference between times of release, a Black and White remake might happen in 2039.

Tho i think it is more likely that it will release somewhere between 2025-2029...Interestingly, the B/W remake would be more special...since they would have to include both storylines (bw1 and 2) somehow...otherwise it would be weird... perhaps a new storyline, in which kyurem gets completed (original form we never got to see)
