It's so awesome that all of us can remember the songs from the game and exactly where they come from (route, town, etc) even if we haven't played in years. You never forget some things from childhood.

Oh my god. Hitting me with Eterna Forest right off the bat made me cry a little. I miss pokemon platinum so much.

The weirdest part about pokemon is that I was so mush into it as a child that I imagined my own adventure, and now, I just remember it as a real memory.

Omg, unwavering emotions. Black was one of my favourite games 9 years ago and I can't listen to this without crying. Everything was so much simpler, no exams, no pressure, no bullshit, games were fun, people were easier, no responsibilities. This song just made me so happy, nostalgic and sad all at the same time.

Oh my gosh. Wow. I haven't head Pokemon XD songs in so long... I was younger and only watched my older brother play it, so I never played it myself. But I remember being so enamored with it. It felt so magical, and like a huge world... the music really brings that feeling back. I might play it for myself now.

It’s amazing that whenever you hear any one of these tracks, you’ll be transported there. When you hear one of the routes, you’ll remember what Pokémon tend to be found there. You’ll remember what kinds of trainers are there. You’ll remember if you fought your rival there. You’ll remember if you found a shiny there. If you hear a city theme, you’ll know exactly what gym leader resides there. You’ll know that gym leader’s ace Pokémon and type speciality. You’ll know the connecting routes. You’ll know the important NPCs and buildings in that city. When you hear a battle theme, you remember exactly what Pokémon you used and what Pokémon your opponent used. You remember how many times it took you to beat them. You remember what you got for defeating them. You remember what Pokémon on your team came in clutch and won the battle. That’s what makes Pokémon music truly special. We don’t just remember the music. We remember so many details. Partially because the music is so good. And partially because we don’t just go through these games once. Pokémon truly is more than just a video game and it’s music is evident of that.
