My favorite gym leader in Pokemon Yellow is the Lt. Surge, I liked how they put the Raichu as his only Pokémon and that gave me some nostalgia from the anime when I fought it with my Pikachu.

Brock for the win! Defensive users reunite. Rock is not my favriote type but Brock is my fav gym leader. I am bug user but defense is my strategy. My favriote Gym leaders are brock., Clay, Burgh, Bugsy and Byron

08:07 idk why but that rage x bind sequence from primeape and tangela is soooooo satisfying to watch.

When I was training in Koga's gym, I was underleveled as heck and accidentally clicked on Koga thinking he was a random trainer. I was terrified, but I managed to win with level 36 Pokemon without healing items (Charizard and Gengar were helpful) EDIT: Gengar makes Giovanni's Persian look like a JOKE

Still to this day idk why yellow never gave blaine magmar in yellow since the version is based on the show especially the epic fight with charizard unless yellow came out before ash reached to blaine in the japanese release

It was after that Charizard battle so I definitely agree Magmar should have been in there. It's such an underrated Pokemon. Magmar eventually came one of my favorite fire types when I used it in Crystal.

That’s impressive how Snorlax sweeped Sabrina’s team! Snorlax is lucky it regained its accuracy with Body Slam for the last two attacks of the battle! Also, Kadabra used Recover at full health when it could’ve used Psychic or Psywave. If Kadabra had used Psychic or Psywave instead of Recover when at full health, then Kadabra would’ve been able to take down Snorlax, or at least make it so Alakazam could take down Snorlax.

The struggle of pokemon yellow raised pikachu to level 20 to get slam later finding out you can get a mankey my god i remember the pain

In Pokemon Yellow 6th leader (Sabrina) have lvl 50 pokemon. Now for example in Omega Ruby have lvl 33. Whyy? T.T

different games have a different exp. system so you level up much less before you get to gyms, so 6th gyms are usually have lvl 30-40 pokemon

Mankey is a life saver for everyones back in the days vs Brock. But i used Quick-Attack by Pikachu at level 18. Imagine the patience . @-@

Kadabra has terrible defense and Snorlax's base stats are a lot higher than Kadabra's.

Yellow was definitely the "Canon" Pokemon game, more akin to the anime. The sprites were also by far my favorite of every game.

Yellow should have added an Haunter to Sabrinas line up as a reference to the memorable episode of hers and as a pivotal member to counter her "weakness" against hard hitting normal moves. Sure, it would not be a psychic Pokemon but its not like Sabrina ever cared about things like that when I look at her Venomoth in Red and Blue.

Damn, Raichu’s Thunderbolt did a lot of damage to Charmeleon! You’re lucky that you poisoned and Leech Seeded Raichu or the outcome might not’ve been as good, your Charmeleon having gotten paralyzed by Thunderbolt, which is also rare to happen, so therefore very unlucky for you! I’m not sure Pikachu would’ve been able to withstand many Mega Punches from Raichu!

Soooo when i was 7 in second grade must have been early 2000 or before that year i was a donkey at school i didnt even bother to memorise the alphabet yet the school tought i was stupid low IQ had trouble with attention span i was just honestly bored of school yet i knew all the pokemon names and types when i bought the colored book of schoolastic catalog school sold and learned all types and knew how to spell them too as i grew up with pokemon the ruby and emerald (5th grade) helped me how to spell alot of words attention to detail on text i read so much and i was ahead of my class on spelling yet i was still considerd the slowest because i just didnt care about school always felt it was useless even now i dont use commas and decimals because i am lazy...... just wanted to share have a nice day.

In pkmn yellow, the game follows the history, so, they give u pikachu at the start, then, u can find mankey to fight brock east of Virdian City, like going to the League, there is a small grass area there. Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander, appear... Snorlax too, with the poke flaute, and lapras i dont remember well, but, is on Cinnabar island before fighting Blaine

​@MegaNumber31 You also have to battle them in silph co to be able to battle Sabrina as well. Also, I don't think Ash would have ever beaten Sabrina at the time if he didn't have Haunter.
