I remember doing a Zekrom Solo run of USUM and genuinely thought I was gonna get stuck because Devastating Drake off of Dragon Claw didnt kill on my first two resets and I had to rely on Affection endure to even get it off. Thankfully, it did land the kill on attempt 3.

Genuinely some of the best I’ve seen

I love all of Dr. HG's gimmick nuzlockes, but I think Snaplockes are my favorite. I don't know what it is - the community engagement? The oft-overlooked pokemon getting to pull their weight? I'm not sure, but they make me happy every time.

Ah, but there are plenty of Nuzlockes where he gets to use starters -- like I said, I enjoy seeing the oft-overlooked pokemon in these Snaplockes! It's part of their charm. :) Otherwise, what's the gimmick? @@Altair1243WAR

Well, he is lv 70 when your team is lv 60. He has omni boost, with 4 moves who can destroy all pokemon but Aegislash. In blind is nearly impossible (without aegislash) to beat him, my only pokèmon who survive 1 move is alola Muk, who can't tank 2 hit from that beast@@raptorneon4919

That clown bit is the reason why out of all Nuzlockers, Flygon is the one I continue to watch after all this time. He just has such an amazing mind for entertainment

Ive moved on from pokemon for now, yet i still return every time i see an upload from you cause your little stories and talks, drawings of fights, and the way that it always feels like youre having fun in each game.. is just something i very much appreciate and makes any day you upload a little bit brighter. I love how much Matti's delivery has changed over the course of the channel. I found him from his emerald Grass monolocke and it's clear he's so much more confident in front of a mic now! His commentary regularly makes me laugh out loud (i.e., 'the visually grotesque'). 10/10

@@ternauven2083from what I remember, there are more cutscene in ultra because of a few additional storylines (mostly ultra wormhole)

I'm so so happy to see Drampa getting some representation. I always hand pick a team of my six favorite mons before starting my playthrough, and when I saw this ancient friendly looking dragon, it was love at first sight. I wound up having a friend trade me one over, and boy did he do some heavy lifting. He's a fantastic but fairly underrated mon. I'm not surprised he got passed over, and I'm really glad he did.

Man these SnapLocke's are no joke...after Iceman went down, genuinely thought it'd be a wipe, but you pulled it out. Great video as always Flygon!

Its amazing to see how far you've come. Especially considering these games were not ones you were as familiar with. Also Komala was used well, so that makes me happy.

Oh man, I was so excited when I saw Minior on the thumbnail and then run itself certainly didn't disappoint. I love the Alola dex and it has A LOT of my favorite mons of all time. (Oricorio, Minior, Comfey, Crabrawler, Pyukumuku ect.) And to see them actually in the spot light was great. Thank you for an amazing run! Also shout out to the community for.. basically forgetting about a lot of my faves. I guess.

These games get such a bad rap, but USUM nuzlockes are a special kind of enjoyable.

I beat Ultra Necrozma with a Zorua/Zoroark most of the time. You put a fighting type in the last spot and it will always go for Photon Geysir. Great run as always

Shiinotic and oricorio are some of my favorite Pokémon from this region, so glad I got to see them used!

typically id be appaled by the public's underestimation of a-slash but then i remember slush rush is a hidden ability and its slightly understandable

Pretty much every pokemon you caught was my favorite from Alola and one that I used myself multiple times. I think this video made me realize how much I actually love gen 7 pokemon, they're all region-relevant, colorful and uh... natural, maybe to distinguish them from the ultra beasts. Gen 8 and 9 only have a few that I adore but most of them almost feel too modern.

I think a reason your community stays so positive is that you are. Your channel is always a place to go for quality content and comfort.

The whole time, I was hoping the mighty Togedemironman would make it through... heart-wrenching at the end. Great vid as usual!

Dhelmise is one of my top 2 favorite Pokemon and it seems like no-one else loves it, so it warms my heart to see it put in the WORK during the Elite 4!

the bg music selections/timings were REALLY excellent in this video! it's not something i usually notice or pay attention to, but there were lots of moments throughout this video that had me like "damn, this music is perfect for this moment"

6 minutes in and 3 of my favourite Pokémon in this gen survived the snap (Raticate, pom pom Oricorio and Lurantis). Good shit :)

Such a fun run to watch! That moment with Ultra Necrozma was hilarious by the way. I was not expecting there would be another way to pull of the Rattata strategy lol. Anyway, I will once again recommend a no stab moves / bluntmons run of Black / White. I'll recommend adding an extra rule that you have to fight all optional trainers before each level cap, which is what I did and I think it makes the run more interesting. I think this is a decent time to return to this challenge considering it's been 10 months since the last run in FR/LG.

These types of nuzlockes are always my favorite to see, I love seeing how you utilize under appreciated mons! ❤️❤️❤️

as a huge gen 7 fan i can say that was the most based Ultra necro i’ve experienced

It's always cool to see more nuzlockes of the Ultra games. A lot of the difficulty is in the planning stages rather than the actual battles, but one slip up can still cost Pokémon or the entire run. Snaplockes are also really cool since you get to see rarely used Pokémon shine.

My first Pokémon game was Sword. I did a blind play through and beat the entire game within no less than two days. Thinking I was actually good at the game, I went to get a copy of Ultra Moon after all my friends constantly begged me to play it. I thought it would be easy considering I swept every team I came across in Sword, but I was so naive and wrong. As of writing this, I can’t get past the Ghost Type trial, and I’ve played this for more than two weeks, but seeing how someone with restricted access to Pokémon can get through the entire game gives me the hope I needed. It may take two more weeks of grinding, maybe more. But it’s nice to know that I’m not alone in the struggle. Keep up the work, FlygonHG!

For the record, Minior is my favorite Alolan Pokemon so I'm obviously thrilled that it got some love in this video, but you've just immortalized freaking Komala for all of us. "Hey, remember the time FlygonHG encountered Ultra Necrozma, but because he did his homework he discovered a secret power hidden within Komala, and was able to tap into its Top Percept Potential in order to save the multiverse?"

Kind of shocked Toucannon, Togedemaru, Dugtrio, and Drampa survived the cut, but I guess not every good mon can be banned. This one was really fun to watch! I love seeing lesser-used pokemon have the chance to shine.
