@@pavloszimbrakos4410 no he’s right it has a more mega style change than traditional evolution. the recent designs for new Pokémon and evolutions have started to become more and more detailed and over designed. They feel less like older Pokémon that had simpler color pallets and details. I’m not overly upset about it but I prefer the designs from gens 3-5 as to recent designs. Also some evolutions have just been lazy like pawmi’s evolutions and the amount of 1-stage evolutions compared to previous games. It feels like they’re withholding quite a bit and that they focused far more effort into the story, cutscenes, and map

To clarify, this video is about all unique evolution methods. Other new Pokémon simply evolve via level up. Edit: I was informed that Lechonk has gender specific evolutions. They still evolve normally via level up.

From what I understand, It’s technically not an evolution when the switch out then back into it again. It’s called Hero Form. It’s an ability in battle. Think back to SWSH that female rival’s mouse, how it had a nice and mean form. That’s what I think what it’s based on.

If you want to level up Primeape, you can just go to the first path after you leave your house, find a Lechonk (Rage Fist has no effect but will still deplete the PP) and do the 20 rage fists with an Ether in one battle.

I don't think it will happen considering it will kind of ruin the whole joke that Dunsparce is. Dunsparce is based on the yokai, Tsuchinoko, a flat snake that is said to be rare but kind of disappointing in the end. The fact that people are so disappointed at Dudunsparce is quite ironic considering that's literally what Dunsparce is.

I feel like Bisharp line are the Lucario line of Unova. Both awesome designs and super popular.

Dunsparce's evo is absolutely intentional, not ''lazy''. I've heard that they aren't allowed to look at fanarts, but they must've figured out how much the fans wanted a Dunsparce evo, and the incredible designs that they created, so they gave it the slightest change possible to troll everyone, and it worked, because people can't tell it's a joke.

These evolution sequences remind me of digivolving in Digimon World.

I loved dunsparce just the way he was and to see the evolution barely change made me so happy. A lot of people are mad but I think he's perfect

It fits its vibe much more than the Uber badass dragon serpents people always drew. I raised one for the meme thinking I’d box it after evolving, but instead it became a member of my league team. Hyper drill cuts right through Rika’s protect spam on Clodsire.

For Kingambit, do you have to KO the Bisharps with the leader crests, or will catching them after attacking them will be enough? If not, then will Tera Raid battles work too? I don’t like KOing overworld wild Pokémon anymore.

I haven't seen the stats yet, but even with a debuff, you can use it with Eviolite now to make it tankier

the evo does get more stats, but to be fair bisharp's stat total was not that high, at least not high enough that it would be problematic for it to get an evolution, it's stat total being 490. kingambit is more on the higher end of stat totals, with 550. so a strong pokemon, but not to the point of being broken, at least stat wise

Bisharp lost Knock Off. That's the only significant change. I'll be running Bisharp too since they ruined Kingambit with the chair gimmick.
