Yeah quality control is way down in the dumps for this set I honestly don't know why either. It's not like it's being printed to oblivion either 🙄 but regardless thank you! Lovdd the fish..everything else was Okay 😅

I would say grabbing the KitKat and Dr pepper was worth it! Lol 😆 😊

DK!!!!! Happy you finally got something you wanted out of packs!!! I have enjoyed triple beat. I got the dendra sar in a bundle deal and pulled the sr both at bgs. But I compare it to what you are paying for English sets, even if it's marked up. If I can pay similar to pre order price for English s&v I will. Past that maybe not but japanese quality looks so much better th me in both overall quality but depth of detail. Compare vstar universe to crown for example. But happy to see you open this! Congrats on the Karp bud!

Yeah, i get you for sure, but what I'm hoping is that english sets, quality control increases to kind of lower that gap between English and Japanese. We will see, but seeing some of the miriams Sr Sars in English, quality looks identical from first glance. I'm hoping the bubble in pricing for Japanese dies down sooner or later bc I literally bought paradigm trigger boxes 4 5 months ago for 60-ish bucks per box...and that was a new set lol And yeah, I'm glad to finally get a mini chase from a set 😅

But I would definitely like to get them at better prices. I don't like paying the prices that they go up to, so I have to pre-order to stand a chance, lol Happy for you bud!

Triple beat seems to be the 100% the same in English just Based on the whole Scarlet and Violet being in English at the same time. pokemon will probably do the same thing with Clay/Blizzard

Yeah I thought that triplet beat would be inside of scarlet and violet but it seems it will be the Second set in Scarlet and violet, not base set :/

I purchased one myself about 2 weeks ago from one of my LGSs', they wanted $165 for it (plus tax). And unfortunately, with the price I paid I could had just bought like 70% of the master set. Which is why buying singles is always the "cheaper" option, but it's always more fun to open packs, even if I end up losing money lol! Although that Magikarp isn't my chase card, I did end up pulling it, along with the Floragato AR and my SAR being Boss's Orders Ghetsis. I also did end up buying the Meowscarada EX SAR from Ebay, found one for less than $200. Has a noticeable print line, but it don't bother me as it's still a beautiful card to look at. Plus, not like I'm going to be grading my cards anytime soon.

165?!?!? my friend..go on japanmaster, that is WAY WAY cheaper jeez luiz.....that LGS is a lot :O And i feel you my friend. Opening packs is always fun regardless lol but 165 plus tax....my guy dm me on IG. I will find better prices for you from legit sites haha. But yeah little pricey, but japanmaster is pretty nice. Yeah I think the magikarp I pulled had really really messed up borders so there is no way its going to get a 10. I dont know if its just me but it seems Japanese card quality is kind of getting worse.

Those are some very nice looking cards. Even the commons and uncommons look great. But DK, please forgive me for being picky here. When you use scissors, grab like 5 packs at a time and cut them at once. It'll save you time from using scissors for every single pack.

LOL i think that some of the cards and pokemon look okay. I am a fan of fuecoco but 2nd and 3rd evolution kinda got weird as it went on xD some solid looking pokemon though...ill get back to you when I think of some HAHA and appreciate you, Magikarp was probably the best card in this set imo.

Appreciate you always tatz and yeah japanese cards have gotten too expensive for me to the point where I am starting to feel bad opening packs on the Channel. It makes it difficult for everyone to get packs so it really sucks. Resellers have basically tripled their prices on Japanese cards in the past 4 months which is such a short amount of time 😱.
