Makes me wonder if Pecharunt was there when Ogerpon killed the Loyal Three in the past. Is that why it's ghost type? Is it implied that Pecharunt was just as dead as the Loyal Three but the Mythical Pecha Berry resurrected it? And speaking of resurrections, there's a theory that Kieran punching the monument was the thing that caused the Loyal Three to be resurrected. And the last location he was in before that cutscene was just outside Peachy's. Did the dormant Pecharunt somehow do something to Kieran that made his punch on the monument resurrect the Loyal Three?

@@cis22 Pecharunt is not implied to be dead, and you can actually see it in the cutscene about ogerpons past, so ogerpon probably fought it at some point.

one thing I like is that Kieran isn't revealed to have been influenced by Pecarunt, it would have been so easy to use that as a way of absolving him of all responsibility for his actions during indigo disk but they didn't do that, Kieran made those bad choices completely of his own volition and now he has to take accountability for them and make things right. it just makes Kieran feel more like a real person with his mistakes being made of his own free will rather then as a result of mind control

I am so glad that they are actually doing something interesting with Mythicals again. They haven't felt special since gen 5 with I guess Meltan as the exception and it's nice to see them put effort into an event rather than parcel man giving you a creature more illusive than a Legendary like it's an Amazon package.

@@MsMoonDragoon after a DECADE of abandoning in game special events activated via items since gen 6 and just distributed mythical pokemon with in person events. it's a breath of fresh air for these events to show up again. I could technically point out this is somewhat paywalled, since this event won't trigger without the DLC stories but the fact they added this AFTER base DLC means a lot.

Ok thats cool and all but heres a recipe for peach cobbler ▢ 5 peaches , peeled, cored and sliced (about 4 cups) ▢ 3/4 cup granulated sugar ▢ 1/4 teaspoon salt For the batter: ▢ 6 Tablespoons butter ▢ 1 cup all-purpose flour ▢ 1 cup granulated sugar ▢ 2 teaspoons baking powder ▢ 1/4 teaspoon salt ▢ 3/4 cup milk ▢ ground cinnamon Add the sliced peaches, sugar and salt to a saucepan and stir to combine. 
 *(If using canned peaches, skip steps 1 & 2 and follow the directions starting at step 3) Cook on medium heat for just a few minutes, until the sugar is dissolved and helps to bring out juices from the peaches. i love the epilogue but at the same time it makes me a little sad we'll probably never see all the friend characters again i'd pay good money to just have a bunch more of these adventures with the paldea squad, getting into wild situations maybe make our own floral patterned starmobile and use it to travel the the world, solving mysteries with our buddies and giant lizard mascot, while consuming concerningly large amounts of sandwiches

One thing to point out is Penny's Japanese name is named after the Peony Flower. So their relationship was something that was theorized since SV was out.

I love how the gang has such good chemistry, all the interactions are adorable,

Ribombee, Milotic and Dusknoir will be effective/resists your chosen starter her final team in BB club room will replace Goodra with a starter from the Terarrium the same type as yours: Decidueye, Infernape or Greninja. Day Lycanroc, Pawmot and Kommo-o will persist in both teams.

In terms of lore, I do wish Pecharunt's power over Kieran when the Loyal Three were revived and exactly why it targeted Ogerpon, but I am still satisfied with the hints I can put together. Overall, I'd say this Epilogue is more about Scarlet and Violet's greatest strength, the characters. By far some of the greatest rivals/friends they've given us in a Pokémon game and their stories along with their personalities coming together like this is such a treat to watch. If this is the end for SV, I'm glad they did something highlighting their strength

@@DeltaGreen03 it’s basically the big bad of Ogrepons story. Pecharunt is the entire reason her friend is dead and everyone feared her and remembers her as a villain. It gave the Loyal 3 what they wanted and made them its minions in the process and the loyal 3 kill her friend for some masks. It had no reason to do it other than “because I wanted to” the whole tragedy from beginning to end was motivated only by self satisfaction

This event answered zero questions, but it was so goofy and fun that I honestly don't even mind.😂And I was just happy to hang out with the three main story friends again, I missed them a lot especially Arven.

The epilogue that gave us memes for days lol. I really liked seeing the main friend group interact with the dlc characters. I was hoping a little more from pecharunt like someone giving us some lore about it and why it was just randomly resting at peachy’s unless they are supposed to represent the couple that adopts the peach boy like the story it’s based on so unless she thought it was a decoration and not a Pokémon that’s the only explanation i could think of. I like that GF gave reactions by Ogerpon Vs Pecharunt and Pecharunt reacting to the loyal 3 betraying it. Pecharunts design when it’s out of its shell is pretty cool I love it the way the floating peach pieces look like blasters which they are since the poison mochi blasts from there. The interesting fact it’s mochi is able to draw our desires and capabilities is most likely how the loyal 3 began to serve pecharunt. I don’t think anyone expected pecharunt to have 160 base stat in its defense while the other stats are 88.

Speaking of memes, Ogerpon seeing Pecharunt is definitely like something out of The Princess Bride. Especially if Ogerpon lands the final blow: “I want my master back, you son of a peach!”

Nemona's Kitakami Pokemon changes based on what starter you have. If Sprigatito it will be Ribombee if Fueccoco it will be Milotic if Quaxly it will be Duskinoir Same said to which starter she'll have later

Man this is the most fun update ever, we need game freak to do more epilogues like this it's hilarious and fantastic to play 😁🥰 Also in your tweet, you're like "I haven't played the epilogue yet but I'll just snack on these" and I was like "tell us you played the epilogue without telling us you played the epilogue" 🤣🤣

Poor Kieran, having to see others go through the same mess he did. At least he didn’t go full breakdown over it.

I know this is like 90% the end of Scarlet and Violet, but I really hope it's not. These games have been so fun and so replayable in a way that previous entries really haven't been. If the rumors about a second DLC pack are true, I really hope they get announced next month. And with only 300 Pokémon unavailable in Scarlet and Violet, two additional Regional Dexes with 150 returning Pokémon each would be perfect to wrap everything up for the Switch era.

My favorite part is the trailer ("whatever you like it or not") and Arven in general. Dude is literally your boyfriend in the event😂 Also Penny simping for the player's mom when most likely the player at some point simp for her dad (btw penny your dad is hot)

It is indicated Nemona caught those Pokemon in Kitakami. ......So when did Nemona had the time to catch those pokemon and train them up to Lv80 with trade evolution required???

I don't know if anyone else can hear it like I can. But in the possessed trainer theme, you can hear a frog like bass sound you hear in Michael Jackson's Thriller. This was definitely done on purpose.

Pecharunt is a weird little guy and I like that he isn't just an uber powerful mythical

The chicken dance kinda took all of the seriousness out of the situation. Pecharunt can mind control an entire village because of its poisoned mochi, but it doesn't do anything about it other than to make them dance. (Which felt more like a side-effect rather than its intended purpose) I know it's a game for children, but it would have been nice if they used the same idea THAT THEY ALREADY DID with the Loyal Three. Having the villagers be bound by their desires (based on power, intelligence, or beauty) like actual zombies would have at least given some modicum of alarm towards the protagonists and why they need to do something about the mind-control. It would also have made a lot of sense as to why they keep chasing the group other than wanting to infect them as well. It could have been as simple as having pertaining dialogue before a Pokemon battle, but they didn't because... screaming mochi is easier to write. Instead, Pecharunt ended up being a slight annoyance rather than a curse or the troublemaker they were trying to portray it as. Either GameFreak wanted to diffuse the horror out of the epilogue, or someone in their writer's board is REALLY into hypnosis, the chicken dance, and the humiliation that happens afterwards.

I get the impression she’s not blood related to him. Her other sister absolutely looks mixed race but I get the impression she was already born before her mom and Peony met. Also I think Pecharunt might just be this games Bill Cipher inspite of every terrible thing it did, theirs no grand goal behind it. It’s doing everything it’s doing because it’s funny. Giving three Pokémon power and being its minions? Hilarious! Getting them to kill and Ogress best friend? What a funny gag! What should I do next? I’ll mind control everyone on the island and make them dance for my amusement, that seems fun!

Well, considering how genetics works, it makes sense Penny doesnt necesarilly looks like Peony at all. Is not like say Perrin, where Adaman's genes are so adamant she got it all. Hell, look at Lacey Just because she is mixed she doesnt needs to look like a mix of both. Sometimes is one or the other

My bad, I thought Gator chose Sprigatito because I saw Meowscarada there, but he picked Fuecoco. So the changes are Fuecoco - Milotic, Quaxly - Dusknoir (this one I saw on my file), and Sprigatito gets something else.

I just wish the epilogue actually incorporated the shared lore with Pecharunt, Loyal Three and Ogerpon. Ogerpon even gets her own dialogue during the battle against Pecharunt.

There was already a theory that Penny was the daughter of Peony or Rose, but they didn't know which of the 2 it was, this epilogue confirmed it

Peony being Rose's brother means Rose is Penny's uncle and Peonia being her sister

If i was taken control of by a Pokemon I would be in no mood to celebrate anything! In fact I would be devistated for time to come!

Between this jerk, the loyal 3 and the ruin pokemon, I think this generation has the most outright evil pokemon ever

Just finished the epilog for Scarlet, getting possessed by The Mythical 🍑 Peach and making them do the Chicken Dance I was laughing about it. And I was in Edgey moment when Kerian was almost got possessed by The Mythical 🍑 Peach but the Mochi missed Kerian and bonk him on is forehead.

I like that though Kieran has chilled back out there are signs that "evil" Kieran is still part of who he is.

If I had a nickel for everytime a Japanese head-shaped-ghost created various foods in order to mind control people and have them worship it, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but its weird that it happend twice.

I really loved this epilogue. Ok, that is a Horror Story for children. But even though, I enjoyed it. Although I would prefer to see Peachy involved. Like she was planning to resurrect Pecharunt and control everyone.

My favourite moments were definitely the charecter interactions and seeing the og squad again, I really miss having nemona and arven in the story 😭 pecharunt is alright and I like it's role in the mochi mayhem

In Pokemon Violet, Nemona uses Dusknoir instead of Milotic, which threw my memory off after battling her on Pokemon Scarlet. 😅

The chicken dance has never been so creepy Also, is it just me or does Peacharant kind of seem like a future paradox pokemon? With the lines inside its... peach halves.

The fact that this story is only accessible via mystery gift item means that not only can you not access it when doing other playthroughs on other profiles, but it will soon be completely inaccessible to anyone without hacking. Sure is swell of Gamefreak to make the Epilogue of the game a limited time event...

The boss fight health meter is the best addition ever for Legendaries. There's nothing I hate more than wasting 80 Ultra Balls per legendary because the fuckers refuse to stay in. It's annoying tedious and a waste of resources.

While watching the vid i found a shiny marill randome and named it after you its my second time whear i watched a blue yt and found a shiny in violet i named it after you

I loved this DLC on so many levels. Only thing I don't like is that it means that we'll never see more of Nemona and all the others as the next game will likely be a new region with a new cast of characters. Never before have I wanted a direct sequel to a Pokemon game so badly.

Yeah, a mythical pokemon is just a pokemon that doesn't count towards dex completion (specifically the BB dex ends at 240 with Tarapagos, but Walking Wake, Iron Leaves, and Pecharunt are 241, 242, and 243 and they don't count towards the complete BB dex)

This epilogue was funny and the ambiance was a bit creepy BUT i have a question; Why Pecharunt is evil? Why did he controlled humans? Is it because he was lonely? Because he hates humans? That's a mystery... or a lame reason to explain why the Dog, Monkey and Pheasant were evil. I hope it's not that 🤨 I would prefer if the trio stole one of Pecharunt't chains then use it and became cruel because of the item. Sounds more interresting than just '' A pokemon controlled other pokemons for no reason! ''

So, why is all of this good content locked behind payed DLC?

I’m gonna be honest, I did not like the epilogue look the interactions with Arvin, Penny, nemona and Carmine, Kieran was nice to see but the story I did not like it I’m gonna give you my reason why number one Kieran There was this whole thing that was going on about when he punch, the shrine with the loyal three statue, there was a purple aura around his hand that was never really explained or touched upon. It made me think maybe that wasn’t supposed to be there maybe that was an animation error and I wish the story Took pacharunt more serious this is the same Pokémon who killed ogrepon trainer alongside with the loyal three stole the three mask for what like was the mask on benefited give it new form what was it gonna do? They could’ve expanded upon that but were left with well this and this could’ve been like a revenge for ogerpon showing her anger, her fury her sadness Towards the Pokémon that took her trainers life With the backstory that we were shown, and now the epilogue of mochi mayhem it doesn’t add up. Anyhow, that’s all I have to say at least peacharunt ost was good. also, I have a question for everyone else when you try giving peacharunt a nickname did the UI tell you you couldn’t name peacharunt dokutaro
