To inform those who didn’t know, the reason it freezes is probably because SF (that’s Spirit Flareon for short) held Y to freeze frame the game. Not a mod, just a game mechanic that also works on 3DS.

Mario says "Gotta read 'em all" as a reference to the tagline for Pokémon "Gotta catch' em all"
