It's sad mega evolutions were dropped almost entirely after let's go cause they were probably one of the most refreshing parts about pokemon back when they were first introduced and like if they wanted to keep them interesting just have legendary pokemon have different effects to them when they mega evolve like in pokemon omega ruby and alpha sapphire with the primal forms

The thing I love about mega evolution is that they not only increase their moves, but Completely change their looks. Like I prefer Mega Charizard X and Mega Mewtwo Y than the other evolution of them because the Mega Charizard Y and Mega Mewtwo X just doesn't look like Real evolution.

How does Charizard Y not look like Evolution? It looks more like Natural Evolution than X does. Charizard is a fat dragon with two horns on it's head, Y has three horns, longer wings, way thinner and more aerodynamic. X looks way more like an artificial evolution than Y does.

I love how the slowbro mega evolution is just slowpoke getting eaten alive by a *shell*

@@donathan2933 The poor writting of the storie and villain; the fact we don't have all the pokémon; we don't have megas nor Z moves; the houses, monuments, and even the huge and beautiful castle from Raihan's city is just simple decoration and you can't enter in... Well, I remember those, sure there are more problems, but don't take me wrong, I like it; I love Hop, Leon, Bede and the leaders.

@@supahstarwarrior6942 I really enjoyed it but in hindsight do think the inclusion of the mega evos may have been the best thing. And the rideable pokemon. Wish they'd made more changes to the original gen 1 tho, namely including more pokemon. Was still a great game.

LEAH Luostarinen You need 7 to get the starters And you need to either beat the game or get up to the elite 4 to buy the rest And to get mega mewtwo x and y you need to beat green after catching mewtwo and talking to your rival then go back to the area where you caught mewtwo and beat green and get the stones

They replaced their enhanced mega cry with some "PEW" sound effect. Glad I never played long enough to get disappointed.

My favorites are: Mega-Venusaur, Mega-Charizard X, Mega-Alakazam, Mega-Pinsir, Mega-Aerodactyl, Mega-Gengar, Mega-Gyarados, Mega-Beedrill, Mega-Pidgeot and Mega-Mewtwo X. Too bad Mega Charizard X didn't appear in Ultimate, it would be epic when Red or Leaf use their final Smash, triple finish with Mega-Charizard X alongside Squirtle and Ivysaur.

Every stone except for Charizard/Blastoise/Venusaur/Mewtwo can be bought from a guy in the pokemon league lobby and i believe they cost 30K each not 100 sure though.

I remember gengar’s mega evolution

By the pokecenter of the elite four you'll see a guy in a slowpoke costume and he sells them to you

The only thing left to do to make this game perfect is add Wild pokemon battles and get eevee off my head ..

Mega charizard y is better because unlike X, Y allowed you to have an ability called drought which made you use a move called solar beam without missing a turn allowing charizard to demolish water types

Pokémon LGPE has only 1st gen mons tho. Btw you're right, the fact that Megas are no longer a thing sucks.

I feel like more pokemon should get mega evolution Y form and X form. It's silly only a few have them. I think only mewtwon and Charizard have them.

Not really, the y variants have better special attack while the x have better physical attack, so depending on the build of your Charizard or Mewtwo, one will always be a better choice than the other
