I'm so excited to see Kalos and Megaevolutions again after over 10 years since 2013. It's so great Pokémon Legends Arceus follower is Pokémon Legends ZA Kalos but it's about the future what's really awesome. It's coming in 2025 maybe with Nintendo Switch 2 who knows? We've been waiting Pokémon Z for freaking 10 years what makes me to feel an old wow. 2025 Pokemon Legends ZA hype is real! 🖤💚

@@jessetate9701honestly maybe it’s just me but I feel dynamax was the Op gimmick. it’s just mega evolution was the better gimmick because you get a totally unordinary form of the pokemon which made mega evolution the best gimmick yet but yes it was definitely a really powerful gimmick aswell

The mysterious ghost girl could be alive in this new game. I bet they'll at least reference it, if not make a story plot around it. Maybe she dies in the building as they are knocking it down, and so she appears in the new building that replaced it, or something.

Im so excited for the new kalos game. I found your channel back when OR/AS came out. I was so young, when you mentioned puerto rico, it was the first time id heard of the country. I loved watching your nuzlockes, i still watch you today and your videos and other youtubers dont have the love for what they do like you. keep it up man!!

We finally made it. Can’t wait to see what new mega evolutions we get, my only hope is we do t get the same simplified battle system, I love abilities, held items, and EVs like the normal battle style. Hope all is well with you and the fam.

It’s most likely going to be the simplified version since it takes place in the past. Also that’s a mainline game features and why would they be implemented in the legends game ? They probably won’t allow the game to be used in competitive format but maybe casual.

@@daiya6214 Not really because the blue lines are more in line with a blueprint of what the city would become. Also it’s based on Paris which went through urbanization that expanded the city. Also it shows at the beginning old buildings reminiscent of French architecture but it slowly pans to the blueprint of modern lumiose not a highly technological development of a city.

In the reveal trailer, Dragonair was shown. I hope we get a regional form for both Dragonair & Dragonite similar to how both Sliggoo & Goodra got Hisuian forms in Legends Arceus. Also, I hope that Mandibuzz & Whimsicott(if they return) get a regional form in Legends Z-A, similar to how both Braviary and Lilligant got regional forms in Legends Arceus.

People suspect it's because the mega stone would literally be called "Dragonite", which doesn't work as it's already the Pokémon's name or "Dragonitite", which is just annoying to pronounce. Also, Dragonite already has ite in its name. So it would be confusing to make a mega stone with its name.

With Japanese developers. I dont think that the English translation team would have to get a bit creative with the items name would be reason enough for them to not add a mega evo for Dragonite if they wanted to give one to it otherwise.

My theory is the symbol we see like that small one that looks like the ultimate weapon (the company logo who is rebuilding) is an organization helping rebuild the city. Prism tower actually ends up being a secret ultimate weapon and the main antagonist hides it all beneath the idea of a “city” so the evil leader is the one building the city and the final fight is going to be atop the ultimate weapon a epic Pokémon battle and Zygarde will be there some how tied into all of this. I also think you will be able to control all of your Pokémon to explore the city like the synchro machine.

As a french I can confirm the « urban redevelopment » refer to the paris hussmannien (sorry I doesn’t have the equivalent in english 😅) or if you want the period where paris was totally rebuild to became approximately the paris of nowadays (it was around 1850 during Napoleon III reign)

Hear me out: Since the theme of the game is futuristic, I think there will be some spots in the city that will transport you to nature themed areas to catch wild pokemon (maybe the plazas). After all, Lumiose is divided by 5 and every part of the city looks the same

could be plenty more layers to the city too with the underground and off course the catacombs, imagine they go a horror route and have the skulls of the dead warrior pokemon underneath the city (doubt) but I want it.

I think it would sound amazing to be completely within just a city but I can also see there being a wild area for you to explore and catch Pokémon

A could relate to the Latin word Arbor, which means tree. This could be relating to the legends of Yggdrasil, which is a common theme of the Kalos legendaries. Yveltal represents the eagle at the top of the tree that flaps his wings and destroys branches on the world tree, Zygarde represents Nidhoggr, the dragon/snake (varries by myth but most often a dragon) that knows on the roots of Yggdrasil, and Xerneas, representing the four stags that eat at the branches. The A could be a Pokémon representing either Ratatoskr, the squirrel that runs up and down the tree carrying the insults of the eagle and Nidhoggr, or one that represents the tree itself.

There could also be a localization issue and lumios is actually the home base like jubilife and we can leave to catch pokemon and get resources

I agree. I’m really hoping it can be more animal crossing with the building. I think we got a sneak peak with how giving Pokémon to npcs in legends arceus worked and how resources would be given to npcs. Pokémon hasn’t been super challenging recently, diamond and pearl were somewhat at the end. I replay black and white 2 since i think the leveling system there was better to bring a challenge. I wish a setting to change that was added

If rebuilding is important, I'd say you get "promotion points" for both helping the rebuilding efforts as well as Pokemon-related tasks. Also, current working theory on the "team" that is planning the developments is "Quasar". If you look at the scribbling under the logo, it can definitely be made out to say Quasar.

The reference to actual historical events in the world of Pokémon is interesting since with Arceus we had something very reminiscent of the colonization of Hokkaidocon and with Z-A we could have something similar to the great urban redevelopment of Paris, which occurred around the same time. Eager to see a Legends Unova where we also participate in a historical event that occurred also around that time, without a doubt the "Black and White" title would have another meaning then....

the "black and white" title probably always had two meanings from back then when it was announced. one obviously being the black dragon zekrom and the white dragon reshiram and the other being the black and white skin toned people since Unnova is based on metropolitan NYC, an American region. We just noticed the other skin-tone meaning recently with the Legends series.

After ten years following x and y's we are gonna get another legends spin-off happening by next year. Man I can't wait for that very day to arrive soon.

We also have systems in past Pokemon games like seasons and weather that could make it easy to fill a single city with a whole Pokedex worth of Pokemon just not necessarily all available at once. The Pokedex could also not be a huge focus unlike Arceus and be more like XD or Colleseum where there is some gimmick to catchable Pokemon.

Even tho I'm excited for a new legends game I'm not gonna get this till I see gameplay, we all now how scarlet and violet launched after all

I am hyped for Pokemon Legends Z-A and Kalos has the best gimmick and Pokedex.

I'm really excited to see what kind of tcg art comes out of this, too.

The bottom of the A in the logo looks like plant stems, which is a nod to Zygarde being the ruler of nature.

1. 5:08, I rlly hope that the game doesn’t take a past and future approach. I want it to be purely set in the past just like arceus was. 2. I RLLY hope that by what they mean by “set entirely in lumios” is that the main STORY is based around lumios as well as lumios is our main base camp like in arceus we had a main base. Imo, it would bring the game down if we couldn’t leave the town to go explore the region. Like am I the only one confused at how we’re gonna even catch pokemon if the whole thing is in a city? Idk. We’ll have to wait till gameplay footage. Other than that, I’m hyped asf for pokemon z.

@@balen9261 Luckily I saw some other peoples breakdowns, and there’s no future, the blue lines were just 3d blueprints. So that fixed that problem. But now we’re back to if it really is ONLY in the city.

am I restarted or is there not any "past version" of lumiouse in the trailer and the drawings are just the blueprint papers for the development plan of the future one? like I'm pretty sure the game is just going to be set in the future in the new giant lumiouse the building is just in classic french style because they want it to still look like Paris

The trailer reminds me of 2020 Tokyo Olympics . The vibe and the funk. Maybe it's a just a coincidence but this year will be the 2024 Paris Olympics. The same city where Lumiose is based on is also pushing for a green redevelopment plan on how the summer games are done. 💚

I think its going to be in the past with Lumiose acting like Jubilife in Arceus where its the only main city but you will have other places around Kalos just not as big

Moxie2D has a great theory for how AZ and the weapon connects to terrastilization in Paldea and possibly a connection to Galar too. He talks a bit about it in his nuzlocke video from like a year ago and then went through it again in his reaction stream yesterday. I think he's on point with it all.

The first Legends game was amazing, really confident that its sequel will be great too! I am so happy to know that we’re going back to Kalos, I know which starter that I am going for!🐸🔵

I am kinda torn apart between chespin and frokie..

I can’t wait to see the new regional forms and mega evolutions! Ik Arcanine just got a regional form but a fire fairy or ground mega would be awesome. But regardless, I just got hope they can execute a cohesive art style unlike SV and arceus. There’s potential for the games to be visually appealing.

I’m thinking we can switch back and forth between past and future, where changes we make in the past level up and unlock new things both in the past and future

Finally, 😁 I was so hyped up for POKEMON Z all that time and never heard anything about it; a lot of others were bummed as well. Well - I'm excited for the game

A game that literally let's you be in charge and design would be revolutionary. Its always just a few choices in games so you can't be really creative. Definitely can't wait to see what this game turns out to be. Also does this mean we get to design our own clothes as well ?

I'm gonna be waiting a long time for a new comfort game.

Might be a coincidence but I've noticed that remakes normally happen double there original generation. Eg. (Gen 2 remade in Gen 4), (Gen 3 remade in Gen 6) and (Gen 4 remade in Gen 8).

This is just my own opinion but what if the wave link thing you mentioned earlier in the video has to do with mega evolution?

Kalos and Johto they can make multiple different Legends games for them with varying timelines.

Maybe when they say it takes place entirely in Lumiose, they just mean the main part of the game. Maybe there will be a postgame or DLC or hidden sidequest that takes us outside of the city. Because there was too much left undone in Kalos to leave things the way they did. (I'm also interested to see how we catch Pokémon, because I can't imagine them just spawning in the city.) I still can't shake the feeling that (rather being shunted through time by PokéJesus), this will be a more purposeful time travel, like someone trying to replicate the work of Professor Sada/Turo. And, if that's the case, we might be able to jump through time, going back and forth between past and future, and maybe we could go see the Pokémon War, too (I still have hope, guys). OR, (and this is more likely) we might get a save-file-sensing event in Scarlet and Violet in that big empty space on the northern part of the map... You know, the one that is right about where Spain (Paldea) connects to France (KALOS?!)? Then maybe could find out about the loose ends outside of Lumiose. Also, Lumiose has some trains, too. Trains were pretty early technology, so perhaps those trains could lead somewhere.

I'm hoping we get to explore the rest in the post-game. Maybe in an update later on.

I think the lambda-wavelength thing could be a reference to mega evolution / ash greninja and the battle bond from the anime

There’s definitely the possibility that we get some wild areas of Kalos to explore with some potential DLC for Legends Z-A

I think the concern with the city stems from the fact that it be hard to imaginen how catching wind pokemon would work not to mention a single city isn’t as diverse as exploring a full region the only way I see this working if they’re area’s in the city like Wild area but as parks or the city itself isn’t built yet and your exploring the area that’s going to be urbanized

This was recommended to me and I already learned something I didn't know people were saying the A looked like Lambda.

Man like so many others i am so happy megas ate back. I hope Pokemon who need it get them. Flygon is an obvious pick. But i hope Pokemon like slaking regigigas and archeops get it. (Idc if they nerf the stats give them justice damn it)

I saw a video and the guy had a good point on how it says lumiose city redevelopment plan instead of just development plan so it’s either lumiose city was already made back then and it’s being added to the city or it really is future lumiose city But what do I think? Past lumiose city honestly

I’d take the Nintendo tweet with a grain of salt until we get gameplay footage, it’s totally possible that there was just a miscommunication with whoever runs the Nintendo of America account, I think they’ll need some sort of wild area even if it is as lackluster as legends arceas because I don’t think they’ll be able to fit the whole regional dex without one. Also I don’t think the hologram lumiose means it’ll be in the future necessarily, it’s easy to try and pick apart everything when we have nothing to work with, and it’s totally possible they could use hoopa to do some time travel stuff, but if the games come out and there’s no time travel I think retrospect it will be obvious simple visual spice for the trailer

Ready to see that ghost girl from X/Y that said something like "you're not the one I was waiting for" or some crap like that since it's in the same city.

If we get new megas, that makes wonder as to how they'll connect these being present in legends but not in X&Y.

If the game is set entirely within Lumiose city, could be possible that the plaza are going to be areas where you put a bait to catch pokémons like in Pokémon XD? Also during your video at 6:38 where is showed the trailer for the game, you can see on the left side one of the plaza that looks like a lake with a small island in the middle, so maybe It could be an area for catching pokémons living in the water

@@megaferalioth8595 it’s not a game at all it’s an idea for the “GOAT” Pokémon game. The game functions as normal you know go here go there talk to this npc do a side quest boom battle……. When it’s time to battle it should be like poken tournament where you (I) play as the Pokémon and dodge attacks launch our own attacks etc like that shit would be fire and I’m shocked gamefreak hasn’t thought of this yet but maybe poken tournament was just a test run of how battle maniacs would work in a game like that

5:40 I need more explanation for that cutscene alone (because of my headcannon with Pokémon as a whole)

The character designs should better be like XY with the same custom options mixed in. People are fine with "Do you want to play as a boy or a girl?" like from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX. The other features need to come back too. The National PokéDex, Exp. Share setting, overworld Ability effects, farming, Loto-ID, remtaches, and others should be featured.

January 2025 is exactly 3 years after Legends Arceus, besides Legends doesn't have strict completion dates unlike the generation games so they will announce Legends games when they are done rather than selecting a completion date several years ago for the generation main series games and have to stick to that date no matter what because of all the other factors that are connected to the main series like TCG, the anime, marketing, merchandise, etc.

My question would be. Where would you encounter wild Pokemon?

it would be awesome if we are able to control our pokemon during battle and dodge attacks like in the anime.also it would be fun with melee combat and Attack cool downs.thats all i want with open world aspect. my dream would come true!

This is starting to have a pattern; Pokemon scrapped the original Arceus event and created Legend Arceus, then they scrapped Pokemon Z and now they're releasing Legends Z-A. But what other things that Pokemon has discarded in the past could be recycled into a Legends games? Legends Pink? BTW. Ekopeons Petrnsm? Peketoprneosmns? Epekotrpensonms?

Hopefully we get to know more about the Lumiose City ghost girl. I want to know what happened to her.

Im playing y for the first time ever. That dome in the north east section looks like the little map of the city when its going through the blackout. Having only that one subsection you can go thru. Dont know if thats representing that or if there is going to be a reason given to us why blackouts happen like that in the city? Idk it just seemes like there was something to that symbol looking like the blackout map.

The question to ponder is, which three starters Pokemon will we choose from? And from which regions?

Wouldn't be crazy if you actually play as AZ? Probably not, but I'm sure he will be prominent in some way in the game. He had such a great backstory.

I wonder if as we "Redevelop" Lumiose, more pokemon will become available ala upgrading the terrarium. This could be a way to make the area feel less bloated too. If we're getting the whole Kalos dex, that's ALOT of pokemon- it's still the biggest regional dex to date. I felt like Kalos always felt kind of "artifical" with how many random pokemon are shoved into each route, and how few of them are found on multiple routes. It didn't feel like a realistic ecosystem.

I have a feeling we have to build and upgrade the city.

Will probably release in january like the last legends game

I'm just hoping they bring back gen 6/7's BIGGEST gimmick: demos 😁
