We went to NYC for a special Pokémon event, and we watched four new episodes of the new show, Pokémon Horizons: The Series, which is debuting on Netflix March 7, 2024. The show was awesome! We got to meet the new female protagonist, Liko, who is a student of the Indigo Academy in the Kanto region where she narrowly escapes the new villains, The Explorers. Liko is very unsure of herself at first, and the whole vibe of the new show is very much like the original series. We also got to briefly meet Roy who has something materiel going on with his ancient Pokéball! The event was just perfect--so thoughtfully planned keeping little Pokémon trainers in mind--coloring stations, Pokémon themed treats station, a meet and greet with Captain Pikachu, and so many goodies like Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Paldean Fates tins! We didn't want the day to end!
