So it goes like this. HUGE SWELL is to hit Nazare but the winds are predicted to be gusty onshore. 10 days before i contacted Jerome Sahyoun asking him if a big swell goes to Morocco I am super keen to come down. 5 days later the swell charts light up with this monster storm. Every good surfer in Nazare was on this mission which ended being one of the best adventures ever! Starting in this edit at the Safi point breaks. Featuring Lucas Chumbo, skim boarder Lucas Fink, Jerome Sahyoun & his son Liam Sahyoun, Axi Muniain, Jose Carlos, , Dylan Longbottom, Natxo Gonzalez, Teva Bouchgua & Garrett McNamara.

SAMIR LARHZAL in this video! He is the Spirit of Maghreb! Met him 7 or 8 years ago. He's a red hot surfer. On a crowded day, Samir called me into a wave & it was clearly his to take. He invited me to his home, met his family, gave me tea & food. I'm a gringo, but he treated me like a local. He saw me on a bigger day than this, go over the falls & snap my board. He went out of his way to help me find another board. Just remember, if you give a wave away it can be positively impactful for years to come. Samir keep charging!!!

Feel exhausted watching that, so, so soo fun looking. Impossibility deep and still making it out looks just excellent!. Everyone packed one as bad as possible, you could be forgiven for dropping into what seemed like and empty wave them someone screaming from the guts if the pit. What a fucking great edit Tim, again. Used to be non surfing villagers didn't like surfers, locals or tourists, showing up Now everyone, except local surfers, are happy with the tourism $ (including cops ...)

Moroccans are generally friendly, courteous, and respectful towards visitors from all over the world. Of course, there are exceptions here and there .

When the waves are hollow most people get barrels so your probably better off sitting it out when it's pumping and hollow or look for a small mushy wave
