Thank you for having the nerves of steel to fly out to Phantom oblivion and back. I can't bring myself to fly anywhere that if the Phantom were to go down that I could not comfortably walk over and pick it up. So I am in awe of anyone who will risk the loss to grab the truly amazing video. Thank you!

Thank you! Not really, in fact we flew another 1000m higher recently and only noticed a small difference!

I don't know if it has gotten any better than manually..However it also seems that the pilot is panning the camera abruptly. If not, I still believe in my fingers as better workers.

Thank you! No filter but 50FPS. You would definitely need a filter for lower frame rate!

+Shutter Authority you could get the right exposue but the shutter speed would be too high and could induce stuttering and 'jello' effects

Yes when filming you really want to try and stick to the correct fps/shutter speeds. I recently got a pack of ND filters for my drone and they do help a lot in sunny situations.

In order to take-off from this location, like any private property, you need their permission. However, the airspace itself is only restricted in July and August.

All DJI drones are incredibly beginner friendly! Especially the Phantom 3, which can take-off and land automatically!

+elmer cuaton Download the DJI Go app and update everything wen the qyad, remote and app are connected. Then enable multi flight and IOC in advanced settings. Once airborne after all that, flip the toggle switch to F and your device should show the options.

Is the POI function available in the DJI Phantom 4K or only in the Pro version?

+Greg Quillen From what I can tell, it is only available once airborne. Then flip the switch to F after enabling multi flight and ioc in the advanced settings.

Seems like I can do it better manually, doesn't look smooth with the POI function :/

+unboxingaddict This has been recorded in high alpine surrounding (obviously), there are always more or less strong winds going, it is practically never windstill there. I think the machine therefore had to struggle to compensate this, and the electronic will be faster in doing so than you could ever be, only taking into consideration the 0,3 sec. lag from real time to monitor.
