Great breakdown. I often use Flow but I like that this freelance gets more players involved in the offense, including post up options/3-point opportunities for your bigs. Also some nice space for mid-range shots.

I prefer flow over point freelance, it takes a lil too long for it develop especially when the cpu is in your face pressuring you, I gotta do a bunch of dribble moves and wait for my guys to come off the screens. Maybe I'll try it out again!!

I use that AND flow together and one whole offense.

you left out center at the top of the key. that sets up a screen for the corner man.

Can someone please explain what kind of action is point? I’ve seen fist point, cut point, give point and quick point…..what’s the basis of this offense?

Yo! I’ve been using this freelance the last 5 years in 2k, it’s crazy hard to stop if you have 5 shooters on the floor🔥 Best used with the all time kings by far

Do you focus on the players hands when you’re shooting or do you focus on the top of their head on when to release the ball?

Top of their head but that’s really only half the time. The other half is just feel/instincts

Yes you can use both at the same time. A play from the series will run, but if you don't get a shot your offense will go into your freelance A series is a "series" of set plays that share a similar spacing, action, and/or concept. The Iverson series for example has a bunch of plays that start off with a player running through "Iverson screens" but each play has other actions that make it slightly different from the other plays. The Melo series plays don't share a common action but the concept is perimeter and mid range isolation A freelance is usually a type of motion offense that gives you a certain type of spacing and predictable actions depending on the where you are on the court. Freelances aren't really designed to get a specific player a specific shot like a play does, but it can help you get some ball and player movement and give your offense structure

Just keep holding Y/Triangle. You can’t hold it forever though, it will eventually throw the pass. Double tap icon pass to cancel if you see He’s Not Getting open
