woah that voice. This guy is f*cking incredible. And this band is inarguably one of the best rock bands of this generation. Scratch that. The Best.

whats amazing is how Maarko can seamlessly go to English when he sings...He may have one of the best acapella voices out there.

Not every singer can show such strong vocals live, unplugged and unedited. Including that high note in the very end which is not very difficult to pull, but comes during a heavy vocal usage.

My heart can't handle young, innocent looking Marko. T_T

@spartanjaws Yes, they speak English, but the band is from Finland so many interviews are in Finnish. There's a few in English, though.

@spartanjaws Yes, but this is a TV show in Finland and not all Finish speak English. I have heard him speak English, he speaks English better than most British, Canadians, and Americans. I love this kind of music and 1990s American rock. What the hell happened in my home country.

I read an interview once, and Marko said that he feels that singing in Finnish sounds bad, and that English is like "his second mother tongue", so there you go. Many bands feel their native language is not fit for singing, and English is kind of widely known among the world, so singing in English makes sense for PotF.

Hellscry I don't really get what's bad about it though? English is known around the world but lots of other countries sing in their own language... I don't speak any other language fluently but I listen to songs in Japanese, Korean, German, Spanish, French and others. Language of the song is less important than the music and singing itself :)

Lucu Lencia Well, I don't feel there's anything bad about songs in different languages. I was just clarifying as to why Marko sings in English. He did say in an interview that he felt it wasn't right for PotF, so I just wanted to clear it up for you, that's all.

Gernot Hassknecht Well I think being well known or not is not so much about the language you sing in :) E.g. Gangnam style - I don't know many people who know Korean here but that song is almost universally known.
