My Hero, the Yew Tree which produces Tomaxofin, the chemical which keeps me alive by stalling my cancer. Dear Jane Hirchfield, thank you for teaching me today in your poem about the way Tomoxifin was discovered in Oregon's old Forests where you were writing. I loved living surrounded by those forests for a few YEARS, I HAD A SUSPICION THAT THEY WERE HEALING IN MANY, MANY WAYS.
Jane is a great poet....some very insightful, wondrous words :-)
