Jorie Graham has authored numerous poetry collections, one of which won the 1996 Pulitzer Prize for poetry. Her many honors include a MacArthur Fellowship and the Morton Dauwen Zabel Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. She has taught at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and is currently the Boylston Professor of Rhetoric and Oratory at Harvard University.

    I love Jorie Graham and she is so advanced and intelligent in her poetry. I don't know if I agree with the post human perspective because we can never be post human. We still puruse the technological from a human outlook. I think nowadays when faced with the technological we are forced to realize human is all we are and all we are capable of, so the inhumanity both in people's coldness and in technology strikes are harder. But even that is human in its output. Nevertheless this was lovely to listen to. Thank you to whomever recorded this and put it up, so we can experience it as well.

    Hard to believe this was right before the pandemic. I used to live in LA and seeing Louise Gluck read at the Hammer was pretty amazing too.
