Just started learning for the Gr 12 Poems and I'm really happy that I stumbled upon your video Great Piece of Content

Also in line 1: Would it not be more correct to say that the reason the poet used the words 'land of exile and silence' was to show the reader that he wasn't happy in the land we was exiled to., possibly because he was not understood and had no interaction with the people of that land (He propabaly could not speak their language) I believe that this cannot be Angola because that is where he is returning 'to' and not returning 'from'
