I remember Kalandra league - those overtuned (legit) mobs were nasty. Then gaslighting players, ignoring their complains, changes to the loot NOT mentioned in the changelog (in a game about loot, hack'n'slash/action RPG) and cherry on the top- streamers/content creators taking players' stance. Devs bailed out faster than the rats from flooded sewers tunnels with the waves. Them devs not showing up on PoE subreddit (made by Chris W himself) tells you something about those times... sure there were people who managed to make profits (like Snoo) but not everyone could do that or was that good.

The loot was fixed like 2-3 days after (sunday's night). Arch mobs received multiples patches post launch. Kalandras lake was also fixed and buffed with multiples patches, I think about a week later it was pretty ok to farm. The meta shifted and whoever didn't adapt, got behind. Kalandra was all about loot goblins, a single mob could drop 10-20 divines because yes just with a gold flask, over 50 if culled. I think it's delusional calling the league bad because it had a rough launch or because you didn't understand god touched minions. Most opinions from kalandra are from players that quit 1-2 days after.

I remember having a stash tab full of Kalandra lakes, patiently waiting for enough buffs to be worth running. I think it was on the 4th week when they became worth running. Joke of a league.

Fair necropolis placement. Allflames, grave rewards, devoted mods = big fun. Dirty execution, I think was the biggest problem.

many members of my family have also done a lot of programming in their occupations, as well. i also agree that it has amazing earning potential according to stack overflow!

Affliction will always be my favorite just for the simple fact of charms and TWWT, I used to chain run T16s and not even do the map, I was there just to go into the wild and search for black morrigan/nameless seer etc and the harvest mob that would drop like 2k juice. I'd spend all the wisps at whatever vendor I found down there and sell the charms/corpses/tinctures. I made BANK doing that, didn't even need to do juiced maps with the MF fulcrum chieftain+abyss combo everyone was doing. Just sold charms and unid TWWT

Ritual and Archnemesis would be at the bottom of my tier list. In Ritual all we did was speedrun maps to maximize harvests per hour and you were forced to craft with harvest inside the map which was awful. The ritual league mechanic was very slow so it didn't compliment at all how we played the game at the time. The maven witnessing only made bosses worse imo and the maven invitations are a mess, there's way too much going on to outplay them so they're mostly a gear check. Archnemesis was one of the worst league mechanics ever and the conquerers and awakener which were one the best bosses ggg has designed so far got replaced with mediocre bosses. Also clicking altars in maps got introduced which just makes mapping less enjoyable and the main atlas bosses got itemized which took away the need to do them on undergeared characters which was a cool challenge before.

Necropolis should be way lower
