What a really great way to tie up the cucumbers. I made a thin wooden frame, covered it with chicken wire and then tied it against two stakes to keep it above the dirt. Then the cucumbers grow up that, keeping out of the dirt. Your idea is so much better. I will save a lot of time checking them almost daily. Last year I had to make sure and direct the new cucumbers through the wire so they didn't get hung up on it. Plus, it will take up much less ground space in my little garden to have them grow upright. Thank you for such a wonderful idea. Have a lovely weekend.
