@KvAT Magic is what opposes science it is not a branch of it and it inherently wouldn't make scientifically sense. That is what Patchouli doesn't understand due to her misunderstanding of Science though luckily she isn't alone in that misunderstanding. If people could use elemental magic and it went against the laws of physics and there isn't a way to write the laws of physics around it without specifically stating that elemental magic would be the exception then that would make magic and science separate. The difference with gravity is that gravity makes sense and work in tandem with other forces making it not magic.

She spamed more crosses than I could find in the local church. Didn't help I die'd a lot.

He also made Fools Rush In as mentioned earlier, but that only comes with 2 musics. The rest you gotta buy his CD/download the tracks from KZread and follow the steps that the game provided to implement the musics inside the game. @Terraria Heaven That's a good question. It's swapped languages and frameworks over the years. It's had forms in Godot and primarily GameMaker:Studio. Now we're not sure what direction to take with its engine, but I have some potential plans. I appreciate the offer for help, but we have quite a few hands on deck...possibly too many! But I'll be sure to let you know when we've got something to show!

I honestly don't know what is worse: eating a bad apple or going through a strawberry crisis. (BTW this was just a joke, I love both themes)

Nahh, I think he got better. This theme does show promise but it is too repetitive with that downward descend note arpeggio section. Don't get me wrong, I love some of the 98 tracks, like dream land, lotus love, Alice maestra, inevitably forbidden game, sleeping terror, inanimate dream, etc. But his windows themes are just better in general. His works from touhou 6 to 12 being my favourite, touhou 13 to 18 do have some bangers but I usually find myself only liking 30 % of the newer game pieces, whereas the old games i usually like 90 % of any given ost or the whole thing (the entirety of PCB slaps, everything in SA does tok except i just don't like stage 2s theme from that game)

I just love how dark and ominous this theme is. Not enough Touhou music with this sort of atmosphere.

this is a semi-reply to ThesSpawner, and also just a note for all of you~ I believe this is called Strawberry Crisis because strawberries are a red color, and Yumemi is dressed in all red, her eyes are red, her hair is red-- most of where color should be on her body is coated in red. the Crisis part comes from the fact that she caused about 9 or more(I can't remember at the moment) inhabitants of Gensokyo to come looking for her Probability Space Hypervessel, only to realize that she was simply attempting to take that person with her and bring them home to study their use of magic. this would be a Crisis for the victim, no? and the Crisis is caused by a certain Strawberry.... Yumemi Okazaki. so yeah. She is the Strawberry Crisis!!

She's probably my favourite too. She has the position of ninth boss in a Touhou game only matched by Shiki Eiki, and she has no magic so she does it all by science which is amazing, and she has a great design on top of that!

perhaps it's a return to the Yuuka format(boss in the final 2 levels, but adding her to stage 3 would be even odder) 1: just some nobody character(they are the mini-boss) 2: another nobody character(unnamed mini-boss) 3: Yumemi(they are the mini-boss) 4: Chiyuri(Yumemi is the mini-boss) 5/6: Yumemi(Chiyuri's the mini-boss) playable characters: Reimu Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame, (these next 2 are for jokes, but then again this is a joke) Rin Satsuki, Mima

@@superplushtiman7ti075 I meant in a more modern variant. Stage 1: Massive Security robot as an homage to UNL with what I’m assuming from memory is the massive Earth Spirit. Stage 2: Chiyuri Stage 3: Yumemi Round 1 Stage 4: Nuclear Hellfire Utsuho Stage 5: Yumemi Round 2 Stage 6: Yumemi Round 3 in a planetary speed chase across Gensokyo as she attempts to escape. Final Battle: Eternal Maiden Sakuya VS Yumemi. (And no, I didn’t mean the comment of bringing Yumemi back as a joke.)

If anything, I *fear* for Yumemi since she could be seen as a threat to Gensokyo's balance.

I don't know why, but 1:36 to 1:58 sounds "fairy tale"ish, if that makes sense.. Definitely my favorite part of this theme.

Well historically, crosses were used for crucifixions (ie nailing someone up and leaving them until they either bleed to death or suffocate), so. Sure nowadays they're more just a religious symbol for Christianity, but even then, biblical texts use the cross exclusively for execution.

This one always stuck out as the most "Thunder Force"-esque of the PC-98 themes.. Love it.

JUST finished my first 1cc of a touhou game in the 4 year history of me playing them....and it was PoDD, with Mima on easy....on my phone using RetroArch.....the tiny screen was a pain in the ass but you have NO idea how satisfying it is to beat the toughest boss in all of touhou with one life left on a tiny ass screen....I would have screamed if my friend wasnt calling someone XD

If you start reading the fruit facts in Fruit Ninja (even in free version), it will eventually mention something very particular about strawberries that proves that ZUN did his research for PoDD!

Don't ask why but i actually named my home science group ***strawberry crisis***

Well, Yumemi is a reference to Fugo Pannacotta; both seem to have an incredible intelligence, both have an assistant/partner whom haves discussions and fights with, and both are related to strawberries; In Yumemi's case, her theme.

This is probably my new Favorite Theme of the touhou project, i just got 1-5 yesterday and i am loving it all

This song made me finish the math test that is due today. The fan art is lovely.

Truly a memoir from the peak of the Touou kyuusaku era. Possibly my favourite final boss theme of all time. Never have I heard such a song before. :D

Well I hope ZUN reincarnated every single pc-98 characters

Well Maribel and renko are 300 years in the future so I'd assume yumemi might still exist, or sumi took her place

I guesw it makes sense that the most powerful final boss of the series has the same colourscheme as the protagonist: red and white.

I love how hard it gets

I think out of every PC-98 theme this is the one remembered for going hard alone. Compared to every other pc-98 themes that either end up being tied to a character that is still remembered today or is tied to a popular arrange that people comeback to the original just to listen, this one is beyond perfect alone and is a hell of a banger even today.

The true profoundness of ZUN's genius truly does amaze me at times.
