【BASIC GRAMMAR】
A) Nouns
In french , we have feminine and masculine nouns, VERY important when you learn new vocab to learn with the right article (whether feminine or masculine).
un (masculine) | une (feminine) = a
le (masculine) | la (feminine) = the
ex: une ville | un quartier
B) Adjectives
In French, adjectives must be 'conjugated' in gender and number based on the nouns they modify
ex: une ville colorée | un quartier coloré | des villes colorées | des quartiers colorés

un quartier (singular) | Des quartiers (plural) - a district
chacun(e)【always singular】 - each
être célèbre - be famous
coloré(e)(s) 【adj】- colourful
animé(e)(s) 【adj】- lively
un résident - someone living there
se déplacer - to move (oneself) 'around'
un lieu | des lieux - a place | places
prisé(s) - be popular
un havre - a haven
une ruelle - small street
regorger - to overflow
foisonner - to abound
cuire - to cook
remplir - to fill in
une ambiance - a mood
un quai - a dock
accueillir - to welcome | host
être bordé de - be surrounded by
une boutique = un magasin - a store
flâner - to stroll
