WHOA! What a great idea!

The first few months at college were really hard, I could hardly eat and I felt so depressed. I literally sat in the middle of my dorm room one day and rocked back and forth crying because I was so lonely. That day I decided to walk down the hall and see if anyone had their door open and two guys had their door open and were playing video games. I ended up playing with them and they became my first friends there. Fast forward to now, I was introduced to one of their friend’s and am getting married to him in less than 20 days. And my first friend at college is in the wedding party.

My husband and I got pancakes and waffles during one of our first dates. As someone going to college soon, that college talk, in the beginning, was so helpful and nice to hear. It has been really been stressing me with the change and it is nice to them hear talking about it.

ria gupta I went go to community college. It’s affordable and it’s a good mix of people. You get some older adults, young adults like yourself, and some teens doing dual enrollment. So you get some outside views of the world instead of going to university which is usually filled with people still with the high school mindset (no offense) plus no roommates. But college isn’t bad. It’s pretty fun. The work can be tough and you’ll sacrifice some sleep but the main thing is discipline. They won’t hound you like before so you gotta get yourself a system. And make friends. Join clubs n stuff. Some people just go to class n that’s it but that’s boring you know? Definitely find a group or club and socialize. That’s all I got. Just some advice I’ve learned. Oh and ratemyprofessor never lies.

I was having the worst day today and was depressed-eating ice cream and dissociating when i heard my name causing me to drop my spoon. Hearing you guys say my name as simple as that is made me so happy that I could cry. You guys always are there to pull me out of the darkness in ways I least expect and I love you guys so much ❤️ great pod this week

Same here! My mum and me made sure everyone was catered for at my wedding (celiac, veggie, non dairy ect) and everyone was super super happy because they said they would usually have to prepare and bring their own food to weddings and functions, it was just a nice extra touch to a great day 😁👍🏻

Things I’ve learned to look for in online workouts, since I’m beginner at most exercises and live in an upstairs apartment: ‘low impact’ in the title (no jumping = quiet), a warm-up at the start and a cool-down at the end (for cardio), verbal instructions that explain the moves so you don’t have to stare at the screen (vs. just music), and a trainer that shows less advanced modifications/emphasizes that you don’t have to go as far as they do. When I find a video that hits all of those points, then I look at the channel to see if they have more like it.

It was really cool hearing you guys talk about university while I’m on my way to university haha. I transferred from a small community college into one of the best colleges in the state so adjusting has been really hard but for some reason hearing you guys just talk about university casually has helped me out so much

RANDOM GAME IDEA I HAD: You start with a random actor/actress & have to end up with another specific actor/actress through different movies they've each been in (Example: you start with Brad Pitt and have to end up with Cher; so Brad Pitt and Matt Damon were both in "Ocean's Eleven" & Matt Damon and Cher were both in "Stuck on You")

Tbh, there's no reason for Jerry Seinfeld to not have Jenna on his Netflix show. He's presented all of the traditional comedians and he should be branching out to non-traditional comedians to bridge that generation comedy gap. Jenna might not consider herself a comedian but she really is the best representation of the younger generation and internet humor. Somebody start that tweet to Jerry!

I really love these kind of videos. I really appreciated the talk about moving out and how to deal with it. I'm a freshman in college and I'm still struggling but I've finally made peace with the fact that I've moved out and I'm far from my family.
