ok that's a lot of ads, on the other hand we are getting cheap phone prices

Best way is to use universal android debloater and uninstall unwanted apps or disable unwanted apps which can’t be uninstalled. I have done the same. It clear around 4-5 gb of memory and also clears ram as those background apps are gone. Then just follow this guide to to stop recommendation in remaining apps.

Cheers, just updated to hyper os on F4 GT and all the ads were back. the f4 GT will not let me revoke msa tho, but everything else worked. :)

The quantity of ads that my poco has is insane

It's been a miserable experience with this otherwise nice phone; it's like the ads become more intrusive every year. Don't even remember getting ads the first year. Followed the instructions, hope they work.

When deleting advertising it seems to of changed, under privacy there is no "ads" it just says "advertising services" for me. There is just option to have "personalised ads" or not. So annoying, i'm sick of having some stupid ad on my lock screen when i start it up

there's always a workaround with the warranty as you can always flash global miui and lock your bootloader if you're ever going to take your phone to a repair center and banking apps work on most custom roms as they pass safetynet by default
