Each winter, it is common for rich hunters from Gulf countries to travel to Pakistan’s vast deserts to partake in falconry. Arab sheikhs are known for being enthusiastic hunters, falconry is considered a treasured tradition and the birds are used in lavish hunts. However Pakistan is also a major hotspot for falcon poaching. Catching a falcon and selling it on the black market can fetch hefty sums of money for the seller, especially if they capture a rare specimen. Some of the animals sell for tens of thousands of dollars, a substantial amount in the developing South Asian nation.

Falcon hunting is very difficult, few poor do it and earn money. WHATS BAD IN IT??? When Arabs come for legal hunting, locals earn from that too. 700 falcons trade per year is a drop in an ocean and dies not reduce population of falcons to extinct level.
