Appreciate you putting together ideas from different sources in a seamless presentation. Slight Edge is a book worth re-reading. Small things, consistently, over time.

definitely an optimal living book! One of my favorites :)
I am a big fan of " The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson". Who was mentored by my favorite business philosoher of all time Mr. Jim Rohn. This is my first time watching one of your videos and I very much enjoyed it. I would like to encourge everyone watching to watch these over and over and over again and then take action while the idea is still warm. Repetition is the mother of all skill. I see you have a bunch of other videos on youtube. I look forward to seeing them. ;0)

3:37 i could be mistaken but wasnt the message of the book that you are constanly moving up or down and that you're never standing still as opposed to the plateaus from your example?

+Goliath I'd say, "yes, and..." We're always going up and down on a micro level and on a macro level we often hit plateaus where we don't feel like we're making much progress. Optimize is now free! Sign up/tell your friends! www.optimize.me

Well now just hold on there Bubba Louey. I'm a minute into this and the bs detector is sounding loudly. Easy to do? Eat right? Workout? No, its easy to order a pizza and sit on the couch watching tv. As has been said, if it was so easy, everyone would be doing it. I've been at this for a couple decades and my personal experience tells me making healthy choices isn't easy especially after previous decades of consistently making unhealthy choices. Just trying to keep it real. :)
@HeroicBrian

Paul Ladendorf hah! How do you really feel there, Bubba? :) Now that we're getting rid of the BS and keeping it real: ls it really *that* hard to get off the couch and do something productive just this one time?! If that qualifies as hard we have some serious issues. Lol. Jeff's point is that any given little thing is easy to do and easy NOT to do. The compound effect of those tiny, simple decisions determines the quality of your life. cl.ly/image/0G3y1V2Q3q3j

***** Hey Brian. Sorry to be completely negative in that comment. I pretty much agree with and have experienced everything you covered in the video and I appreciate you doing it. Well, except for the easy part. I'll agree to disagree on Jeff's point as I sit here eating a home grown broccoli sprout salad that really wasn't easy to decide on lol. Its actually really good. :)

Paul Ladendorf Just saw your second reply. FOR SURE! And, yet, his point remains that each of the tiny little choices that build momentum in the habit building creation weren't particularly hard either. (I know you disagree but just sayin'. :)
