PNR San Pablo - Lucena, BUKAS NA! | Magkano ang Pamasahe sa PNR San Pablo-Lucena

After it’s operation was stopped in October 2013, the Philippine National Railways San Pablo-Lucena Commuter Line in San Pablo City, Laguna has finally reopened last Sunday, June 26, 2022.
The 44km line, which was officially inaugurated by President Rodrigo Duterte on June 25, Saturday, began public operations last Sunday, with a daily passenger capacity of 3,683.
Travel time between San Pablo, Laguna, and Lucena, Quezon, is now down to just 30 minutes, from it’s usual one hour travel time.
The PNR San Pablo-Lucena Line has four trips daily, wherein the earliest train leaves San Pablo Station at 7:00am, then followed by the 11:00am and 3:30pm trips, and 7:30pm as the last trip from San Pablo, Laguna.
From Lucena station on the other hand, the earliest train leaves at 5:00am, followed by the 9:00am and 1:30pm schedules; and then 5:30pm as the last trip from Lucena station.
There will be four stops in between San Pablo and Lucena Stations. These include Tiaong, Candelaria, Lutucan and Sariaya stations.
Fare from San Pablo to Lucena is P50 pesos.
From San Pablo to Tiaong or Lalig is P15 pesos, San Pablo to Candelaria is P25 pesos, San Pablo to Lutucan is P35 pesos, and P40 pesos for San Pablo to Sariaya staion.
For Senior Citizens, the fair starts at P12, then P20, P28, P32 and finally, P40 pesos from San Pablo to Lucena.
When riding the train from San Pablo station, you will have to pay for your ticket inside the train; while riding from Lucena Station, you can buy your ticket from the ticket booth.
The San Pablo PNR station is located on the near-end part of P. Alcantara Street, a place called “Bulante sa may Palengke” in San Pablo City.
The San Pablo-Lucena Commuter Line falls under PNR Bicol’s Package 1, which has a budget of P142 billion. It will stretch from Banlic in Cabuyao, Laguna, to Daraga, Albay, and will include 23 stations, 230 bridges, 10 tunnels, and a 70-hectare depot in San Pablo.
The revived train line is part of what was then known as the ‘Bicol Express.’
Now called as PNR Bicol or South Long Haul Project, the entire stretch from Metro Manila to Sorsogon is 565km; and will cut 12-hour journey to just four hours by train.

    sana mapanatiling malinis ang train... very convenient ito at airconditioned pa... im sure pwedi pa madagdagan ng bagon pag dumami ng commuters na gumagamit nito :) o di kaya, dalasan ang byahe :)
