Pneumonia is an inflammatory condition of the lung primarily affecting the small air sacs known as alveoli.[3][14] Symptoms typically include some combination of productive or dry cough, chest pain, fever and difficulty breathing.[1] The severity of the condition is variable.[1]
Pneumonia is usually caused by infection with viruses or bacteria, and less commonly by other microorganisms.[a] Identifying the responsible pathogen can be difficult. Diagnosis is often based on symptoms and physical examination.[8] Chest X-rays, blood tests, and culture of the sputum may help confirm the diagnosis.[8] The disease may be classified by where it was acquired, such as community- or hospital-acquired or healthcare-associated pneumonia.[17]
Risk factors for pneumonia include cystic fibrosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), sickle cell disease, asthma, diabetes, heart failure, a history of smoking, a poor ability to cough (such as following a stroke), and a weak immune system.[5][7]
Vaccines to prevent certain types of pneumonia (such as those caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae bacteria or that linked to influenza) are available.[10] Other methods of prevention include hand washing to prevent infection, and not smoking.[10]
Treatment depends on the underlying cause.[18] Pneumonia believed to be due to bacteria is treated with antibiotics.[11] If the pneumonia is severe, the affected person is generally hospitalized.[18] Oxygen therapy may be used if oxygen levels are low.[11]

I had pneumonia from then when i was born so its a real struggle for till now 17 i have survived thank you god i hope one day this will not trigger my daily life specially winterss 😅😊

I feel I have it Stomach and chest pain- coughing up blood, really fatigued, loss of appetite, nausea I do have asthma so my chest and breathing is worse and also struggling to daily life they said I have q bacteria sinutis

I'm pretty sure I had it then too, I was 26. Sickest I'd ever been in my life. Coughing so hard I was almost dry heaving, couldn't lay flat on my back cause there was so much fluid in my airways it felt like I was being water boarded. Jacked the room temperature up to 30⁰C and was still shivering. 14 days of that sh*t.
I’m 61 , I had very heavy cough I’ll my life , after I was sick . In my 50 I was delivered in ER , I fall in coma . One doctor found that I have birth defect - it was a hole in my longs . I spent my 13 years in the hospitals till one , regular doctor found my problem . I was dying from an ammonia several times . I , my self would go to the doctor and ask them do I have liquid in my lungs ? Crab , No they was screaming telling me !!! I was always right . Sorry , but doctors in Chicago , should be sued for fighting with me , because they was killing me !!!
I have had a cough for 4 days, with a lot of flem but no blood in it I have vaped for 1 week just to try it with friends I am asthmatic and use my inhaler but it seems to do nothing can anyone help?

Bacterial infection will need antibiotics. It doesn't go otherwise

What is the reason for pneumonia? Tell me in simple words. Does this happen due to eating? which food cause this disease?, if it happens due to air then what type of air inhale it cause…Doest i cause due to water..if it so then which water cause this disease and what are other reasons…?please tell

If tht case neumonia if just start Garlic can help .. because garlic can kill bacteria ang fungi
My sister child 1.7years old not survive 🥺5 days in the hospital with vendilator not use.may Oxygen level only manitaon 70 to 83 first 3 days . Last two days level down🥺🥺
