Imagine if has Meghan McCarthy knew people would think of that very reason why Luna arrived late and that's why Meghan McCarthy intend Luna to show up late to the wedding. Genius.

I honestly miss the old fan theories of Chrysalis. The idea of her being the queen of a parasitic and dying race was really interesting, and it always felt like a cop-out to have the entire race be reformed in a few seconds. I always love the idea of changelings as a nation and it would have been nice to see the changelings and ponies come together without needing 1 race to completely up end their way of life.

WAIT A MINUTE The audio at the end... It was Luna. Blue feathers floated around Chrysalis, and someone said, "You will never have a bad dream again. Sleep well." That's where Luna was... I want this to be Canon so badly...

Who else is watching after the finale? This has a completely different meaning now. Chrysalis was turned to stone, and probably has no chance of redemption. It’s so sad, too, because she was probably the most redeemable of the three villains. Starlight gave her a chance and she just outright refused. Maybe somehow, someday, Chrysalis will get another chance and will become the pony she wants to be.

I must say, this is WAY better without any spoken lyrics. It also impacts the viewer more deeply, in my opinion. I was crying by the end of it. I love this, and think it's one of the greatest Pony fan works of 2014. Cheers to ya!

if crysalis really would think like that in the show , then i would feel sorry for her , even if she wouldnt admit it . starlight glimmer had given her the chance to get redeemed and she refused , somehow its sad , but if you have lived for so long with those goals? i dont think you can be redeemed so easily as the show let us believe . best exsample of that is the not so deep trust from twilight in trixie and starlight after their redemption . and that is a good exsample to show the people the truth about our world . but it is not everywhere so . good spots are in existence , but we have to find them .never give up in hope you guys ;)

who cares okay?crysalis didn't want peace because even if she had no 1 will like her ( only later ) but srsly no 1 cares I like this video and u stop complaining .-.

This is the kind of thing that happens when you look at another's perspective. Sometimes it hurt's, sure a lot of the time it's irrational, but then you get ones that are people who need to do something and it hurts. Man... the ending is just sad. This brings me to something a loathe about living beings, and I hate to say I'm not too much better. People like to focus on the negatives, this can lead to people NEVER getting a second chance, even though they may want to try again. If they keep repeating said "mistakes" over and over, yes they need to be dealt with. You can't progress if you focus on past mistakes. This is honestly why we need to have the changelings back, it could give that lesson. If they run out of ideas this should honestly be a topic at one point, it could've been used with Discord, but it wasn't. Queen Chrysalis and the changelings are becoming fan favorites as time progresses, they might get back eventually (I hope).

Please don't do that. If you can't feel feelings then you can't be happy either, and you deserve to be happy. The down side of being happy is that to be happy you'll have to go through sadness. That's okay though. It always balances itself out. So keep your chin up, and feel feelings. Good and bad.

I was just thinking the same thing. heh can't believe I didn't think of it before, but could make for quite the interesting fanfic! *wants to write it now but already has like a million stories she wants to write plus schoolwork x.x (just one more semester!) *

This honestly makes me feel bad for Chrysalis.... I know she was a villain and all (that literally made her important along with Cozy Glow & Tirek) but I guess if she had potential to be reformed and do good, then.. Why can't she? There's obviously some good fanfiction out there that deals with it

So that's where Luna went, I like her even more now.

You know, I just realized something. The changelings feed off of love. If this interpretation of the Badlands is correct- that is, if nothing in the Badlands is capable of love- and Changelings can't love (I don't believe they can, but I might be wrong), then the Changeling race would have no food source, and they would- Oh my Celestia. The Changelings from the Canterlot Wedding special starved to death. Yeesh.

Very nice... I assume towards the end you were suggesting that it was Princess Luna affecting Queen Chrysalis' dreams and was there above her in the Badlands to save her? Thus the dark colored feathers and the sound clip of Luna? I admit to being uncertain though if the video infers that Princess Luna on keeping the changeling queen in an endless sleep or that she will save her and take the queen somewhere else.

...I cried. I did... it's been a long time since ponies could make me cry. If I didn't have enough on my writing list already, I'd write a story based on this, where Chrysalis abandons her memories as a Changeling Queen and adopts a permanent disguise as an ordinary pony. But she can't hide from her true nature forever, and the weaknesses of her disguise make themselves known, a group of changelings learns of her existence and becomes determined to bring her back into the Hive...

I think that it's not in the gaining that we find true happiness, but in the giving. To the pony who has everything, including all the time in the world, wouldn't there be infinite happiness in giving to others, in enriching their lives?

This is something stupid but while I was listening to this music I came up with all some of these lyrics. I worked hard on the story. Nobody is likely to see this, so it shouldn't be too bad , but I hope whoever does see this, ends up liking it ^^ The story would be about a "evil" noble girl who is alone after being manipulated by her father and lover into being this way. She sings this song inside her jail cell just before she is called for her execution. She is singing about how she wishes she was someone else. And wishes she hadn't been manipulated into being evil. How because she was seen as the bad guy she lost everything and in the end finally gave up. At the end of the song, she was taken from her jail cell to be executed. (Prison girl) If I had a choice Even just for a day I’d roll outta bed in the morning Throw on what I wanted, then go Hang out with my friends And play a couple of pranks I'd paint whatever I wanted And be as creative as I want Cuz no one would judge me. If I had a choice Perhaps I could understand How it feels to be loved I swear I’d be a better woman. I wouldn't listen to him Cause I know how it hurts When you lose the will you had Cause you didn’t know right from wrong And everything you had got destroyed If I had a choice I would work really hard Show everyone my best smile So they would see the changed woman I am. I’d put my friends first And make them smile as I go But instead I am a selfish person. I don't think Chrysalis was being evil just because she could, or because she simply was, but mostly because she and her underlings were starving to death. They feed on love, and there wasn't any of that in their home land. Chrysalis was so hungry, she didn't think that disguising herself as a pony would feed her better than trying to take over and force people to love her and her people.
