I had a halo brace way back in 1980. I had a hangman's fracture 2mm from my spinal cord. They gave me no medication for pain because they said they had to know immediately if I lost sensation anywhere. It was the worst pain I ever felt. It gave a whole new meaning to the word PAIN-

It has to be different now. My buddy got two of them. One on his head and another on his wrist. He wouldn't have tolerated it very well if they didn't give him something. I was there with him when they did the head one. The wrist was put on while he was having surgery to put all the little bones of his hand and wrist back together..... it was a LONG night. His bachelor party in fact.

I wore a halo brace for 23 weeks, 18 yrs ago, I had 4 local injections in the skull and it was still painful, I actually felt sick during the process.

Мне устанавливали под местной анастезией,чтобы я была в сознании и могла отвечать на вопросы!!!Проходила в аппарате 3 месяца.Недавно сняли))))))Думаю все будет хорошо))))

Добрый день. Здоровья вам, не думал что в России это устанавливают. Я увы хожу в шейном корсете
