Areh bhai thoda interest lake pado india ka industrial developments which i detaailed in one of my comments. WE are repeating the same? can we be competetive. . We are already making jet fighters to airc raft carriers to rockets and chips design and engg, superc computers and largest power generating turbines of above 1000 mw with many large corporations having huge industrial hubs all over. Pl read. This govt thinks we are in stone age. We are not and advanced one otherwise can you send our own satelliteto mars in 2010 in the first attempt? Janiye India ko first. This facility may be suitable for small scale electronic industries and not a big deal

History doesnt depend upon what you think so... Even at Present Ahmedabad is better than Surat. Surat has a lot of flyovers sure, but the overall progress rate of infrastructure and amenities in Ahmedabad is much better. You will find a wide variety of cuisines in Ahmedabad from authentic Japanese food to Mexican to Kathyavadi to North-east Indian. (though I admit good Locho or Khamani are difficult to find in Ahmedabad) Ahemadabad also has IIMA, NIFT, AMA,PRL, NHL medical and so many other nationality acclaimed universities . We even have an ISRO! People travel from all over the world to attend these leading to a lot of cultural diversity. Ahemadabad is called Manchester of India... Textile hub...

All the pillars are already installed. Many buildings are wip. Will be ready in another 2 years. I don't see it failing by any means. Still i respect your opinion, time has all answers. About 70% population lives in villages. If urban population increases to even 50%, it will cause a huge stress on cities. Our cities are already choked. No infrastructure can save them if migration is not reduced or diverted to small cities. We need to build at least 20 new cities specially in coastal areas with port facilities. China has built at least 50 such cities.

Agar palturam Bihar main kursi ke jagah development sochega toh woh bhi hoga. UP is not a coastal place either but it is growing faster than Bihar. You don't need coastal region, you need connectivity to coastal region and Bihar can easily have it by collaboration with West Bengal but none of them has the vision. Gujarat people support Modi. They know whatever Modi do all for their prosperity. There is no protest by people like another state. This is main reason why most projects move to Gujarat.

@RISHI FREE FIRE bat oppurtunities ki hai, Northeastern states are one of the most ignored and backward states. Even with the green revolution, many schemes, job, and business opportunities, infrastructure etc all are lacking as compared to northern and western states.

Yeah people are saying government is more focused on Gujarat which maybe kind of true at some extent but i think it's just one city so it had to be somewhere so it's in Gujarat but in future every state would initiate projects like this so keep supporting government that focuses on development not fall for political propagandas
DHOLERA must be developed ASAP and if it still remains relevant, this model should be replicated in eastern coast of India subcontinent as well. For that, we will have to develope Andaman and Nicobar as military establishments to ensure safety of trade.
Honestly speaking, Indore city deserves more development due to its strategic location at the centre of Indian Mainland. But nice project anyways. Nice to see my Nation developing at a very fast speed Jai Hind 🇮🇳

Well, It can't be strategic from sea point of view. But it can be strategic through rail and road point of view. It also kind of, falls between Delhi and Mumbai. Also, Many industries are developing in Pithampur, which is a future industrial hub near Indore. But I won't say that Dholera project is a total waste. I mean, It is not at all a waste. It is a very intelligent investment. Making a major manufacturing hub at the coast is an excellent idea. However, Other's opinion may vary and I respect them.

Not how free market and capitalism works 🤷♂️.. businesses choose the best place for them and places like bihar, MP, and UP are 1, landlocked, 2, not very much incentives for businesses, and 3, bihar’s government is very backwards and it’s people keep choosing it so nothing happens in the state 🤷♂️

Such cities are developed all across India. 98 such cities are being developed under the smart city plan. Dholera is different because it was envisioned by modi himself in 2009 when he was CM of Gujarat. Also, it is one of few in those 98 cities that will be developed from scratch.
