Funny story about this song. I was at my dad’s when I first heard this, and the cat actually stayed around until the song was over. I had been a little too rough with her, but every time this song came on she tended to stick around. I was in first grade in 1983 when the song Trrue came out. I hated it then. I think that what brought it on was I was in the car after a bad day or argument and it came on the radio. It was WNIC in Detroit, and when MTV first played this song I was curled up on the couch and secretly throwing aa temper tantrum. Now, I don’t mind the original song, and actually have it on a mix tape that I got second hand.
Although the original is a truly unmatched world wide hit and No1 in 21 countries I really enjoyed this version, well done guys
I've listened to this song all day since friend reminded me ... love the original Set Adrift On Memory Bliss, but there are some very cool dovetails or remixes too, like this one. Fortunately, no one can see me at my desk in the office, rocking back and forth, great song!!
