It's nice to be spoken about. At the start of the season many of us were saying it would be good to be spoken about for play off places with a couple of games to go and that's what's happened. We're building from the Allam legacy and the trip down to league one amd that takes time. As long as we're making sustained progress that's all that matters

@@shitholeworld not heard too much yet, speculation is either over ambitious chairman or maybe a fall out, whatevers happened I agree it seems a little odd, Second half of the season was poor though, in and around the plays in January, strengthened really well but didn't push on

Not a great performance to end the season. BUT! It has been a great season for us! Considering it's the managers first full season as a senior manager and how much we have improved since he came in, a successful season I think. Looking forward to next season with Rosenior and the boys! 🧡 Edit: Cannot believe we sacked him -.-

You only needed 8 goals today to get into the playoffs ! Great game against Ipswich; a shame that Hull didn't get past them. Hopefully Hull will be stronger next season. Will be great to see them in the Prem again. - A Norwich fan.

@@shaunsowter Robbed ?? Yes, that was the difference between 6th & 7th. Had Hull won 1 one of those against Norwich, they’d be in the playoffs instead. I’ve yet to go to the KC. I was going to go to cheer on Hull against Ipswich but the weather was bad that weekend, so couldn’t have made much of a weekend of it. I used to go to Boothferry Park back in the day on visits to my grandparents.

liam has done a brilliant job there, taking hull to play off contenders. You need a goal scorer thats obvious, to challenge the parachute teams its always a uphill task but with the right deals sheffield united and co can be challenged.

It should not be forgotten that this team was at the bottom of the league last year

Disappointing ending after such a good season, but nothing but respect for Liam and the team. Remember that a year ago we were nowhere near the playoffs!

Overall good season but those dropped points and that decision on the first day of the season hurt us. Nothing guaranteed next season either we just have to go again but si much progress has been made. Thankyou for the ride cant wait fir August! 🐯🖤🧡

Damn what a shame but good season boys just a touch off!

Half the first team will be gone over the next few weeks leaving the also-rans behind. Hopefully the faith we have in the clubs ownership will be repaid with some astute investment in quality replacements to help us kick on next season as Liam is proving himself to be a fine manager who has obviously listened to a good media trainer and learned a lot in his time at the club. His tactics took time to settle in with many of his players struggling to adapt but latterly we have come to be a formidable side for any opposition to play against. The choice to leave strikers on the bench is one that continues to baffle both myself and many others but overall I hope we can keep hold of Liam for at least another season or two. UTT

Good effort but just fell short. Inconsistency has cost us. If the team attacked more and had belief in themselves, great things could have happened. Hopefully they will learn from this and come back stronger next season. UTT

As a Huddersfield Town fan with no affinity whatsoever to Hull City I am utterly amazed and appalled by the decision of the CRETIN who runs the club to sack him. He was one of the 3 nominees for Championship manager of the season and pre-season the owner said "top 10" was his ambition. Dreadful decision, I feel sorry for the Hull City fans.
