I did engineering to fulfil my father dream and got job, did it for 2 year, then resigned to fulfil my mother dream. now I am preparing for UPSC. 3 attempts, not even close. I but I still don’t know what I want in my life. 27 year of age. If any girl tried to come close, I pushed everyone away. My 3 cousin sister got married in last 3 year, I didn’t even go to their marriage. I don’t care 🤷‍♂️ about people, never did. But what about my own conscience? I don’t know.

Nice story and shooting. Achieve your goals wholeheartedly, but no need to stop living everyday life. Attending family functions should not be a secondary or less worthy things. That’s the main part of the life. People confuse livelihood/profession as their sole identity. We are what experiences we have and what we do collectively or individually for ourselves, our families and the world. A thoughtful and sensitive ( not sadha chaiwala)chai wala preserved a single life, which took same years of earth years + 9months to exist. More than a psychiatrist was able to achieve after years of studying. Give gift of time to people around you, with respect and care. That’s the best value of your time on this earth.
