@@SaffronSageAstrology This happened to me as well... Scorpio/Pluto is the underworld and this book plunges you there. It's quite uncomfortable and difficult to grasp at first. I cant believe someone was able to write a book like this. Its honestly, life changing. If you have any questions about anything, id be happy to answer.

@@z3bekBG yes, you enter the sphere of the planet when you study it! I'm taking a break from Pluto for a while. I'm definitely going to keep reading it in sections but even creating the Pluto videos and this time of my life while doing them has been quite transformational.

I think your perspective on pluto in the 8th is insightful. I found myself relating a lot. It's not my natal placement but it has been an ongoing pluto transit in Capricorn in my 8th house. 14 incredibly dark and difficult years which ends February 2024. Which I only found out about this year. But boy did this open my eyes. It made sense of the 14 years. It transformed everything. I even experienced clinical death in 2009. It has been an insane transit for me. If anyone wants to find out about a power greater than you that's actually running the show then pluto transit 8th house will show you. Not for the faint of heart.

Pluto making its way slowly into my 8th, is so overwhelming for me. I know number one rule is to not freak out, but I’d rather have it in my 7th 😭

I have all those traits and it’s pretty heavy. I know I’m powerful but my intensity also feels like a burden. I stay contained and small/internal because of fear of being harmful to myself and others. The point about not being so interested in the academic technical details of the occult compared to the actual somatic mystical experience is interesting and accurate.

That was amazing, so interesting! My partner is going through a really massive dark knight of the soul kind of stage in his life at the moment, he has Pluto in libra in 8th House. So many things resonate with his life, and the transformation coming out of all of those things, he has fought them all and came back way stronger .. he is very intuitive as well, he is an Aquarius sun too, they say Aquarius are old souls don't they .. so fascinating. I left a message on your 9th house video too. As my Pluto conjunct sun, Uranus and Jupiter are all in the 8th house placidus or 9th whole/equal sign. Both hold truths for me But I feel like the 8th resonates more for the reality I have lived thus far in my 53 yrs. I like trying out both placidus and whole sign to see what resonates most. Jeffery Wolf Green recommends porphyry and he literally wrote the book on Pluto so I would also see if that one resonates more. And thank you so much.

The past life stuff. I know that in this lifetime I must be free of entangling relationships. Excellent breakdown!! I have Pluto in the 8th in Libra. Pluto conjuncts with my Ceres and Psyche. I have 5 planets, Including Pluto and 4 asteroids in the 8th house. I am heavy on self psychoanalysis. I find that I have a HUGE fear of emotional intimacy in relationships. Lots of past life trauma concerning betrayal and not being able to express my unique self. It's like I want to express the love and intimacy of a partnership, but I fear it at the same time. I also think about how I will leave this life and where I go immediately after. I feel powerful in my intuitive understanding of human behavior, yet I feel powerless in understanding my own. For me it's a question of, where does the therapist go who is in need of therapy?

Wow, this video was really really helpful! My Pluto is actually not in the 8th house (it's in the 1st in Placidus and 2nd in WS) but I have Scorpio moon conjunct Pluto and I find myself relating to a lot of the characteristics in this vid quite heavily. Like the obsessive need to get to the bottom of things, etc. Lately I've realized that I need to figure out this whole relationship =/= personal transformation issue and your perspective really helped me. Btw the video on 2nd house Pluto was incredibly helpful too, and interestingly enough I know a person who has Taurus moon in the same degree as mine opposite Pluto and could probably relate to it too. (Damn you Hades moon)

OMG - This guy I'm starting to get to know has his Pluto in Scorpio in the 8th house. Isn't that a triple threat?!? Thoughts?? I mean, is this a red flag 🚩?? If not, I apologize and someone please enlighten me. I already caught him lying to me but I wasn't 't sure if he was lying because he wanted me to like him because he felt insecure at the time.

i have the same placement and it also conjunts my mercury.. no, it doesn't mean we lie, we might be private . secretive but not liars. Look for neptune in his chart and your synastry

I would not see it as a red flag based on one placement like that. I would try to use your experience to guide you more than what you see in the person's chart (because it could show up in a good or bad way, it depends).
