This was the last great music ever created. The early 90s to mis 90s. Very unique. There are bands that do it today but not mainstream. I think mastodon comes close now.

@@clevelandshredder I can barely appreciate it, but can't fully tell apart the notes or enjoy that melody, it's pretty brillant tho, but the main distorded chords fill the sound a lot more in this one

Dean has said before he mixed this way on purpose to give it more of a vintage tone. In fact most of his gear that he uses today is what they used back in the 90’s

Yeah, most likely the Les Paul is on the Left/Middle and there`s a 12 string on the right (rickenbacker maybe?) and an acoustic on the hard left with a room mic on the right.

You can't because the files already bounced. You'd need to get the stems. Not sure how these people get them haha

It’s the headphone a mix bleed, plus there is quite a bit of wet reverb on the tone.
