I've had to do that twice, both times they just used a little inflatable thing, stuck it in the door, inflated it to bop the door open a crack, and then used a metal wire to unlock it. Cost over $100 each time. This video could've saved me a fortune.

Parents can get exhausted, distracted, accidentally leave the keys in the car, (and some cars have auto lock) or have a communication error. Hell, I've accidentally forgotten my dogs outside for a bit on more than a few occasions. Even my mother just did it to my 17 month old Aussie, I did too. Which is odd because that girl is super hyper and hard to miss. 🤭 Sure, forgetting can sometimes have bad outcomes but parents are only human. They will make mistakes. So you need to get a grip and except that life doesn't always go the way we plan.🤦‍♀️

This actually does work, used layers of duct tape on the window and pulled the window down when keys were locked in the vehicle. Not sure what it does to the window mechanism though🤷

I'm a locksmith this does not work. Do not try it as well as the tape thing. Do not try it. Your best option if you have a child locked in a car as represented in this video is to dial 911. Most fire departments have the ability to get in your car for you. They'll get there faster than anyone and they don't charge you anything

For everyone thinking someone's in the car hitting the window switch, on alot of new cars, if you have automatic windows, you can press your unlock on your keyfob once, then hold it down and your windows will roll down until you let go of the button. Probably what was on the other side of the tape "lights".

Step one forgwt the owners expense, Step two to not hurting little Billy, breaking the back glass, or the driver side. Mission accomplished.

Wouldn’t it be easier to call the dealer, order new keys, pay $469.95 p tax, rent the car to pick them up, then ask someone to help you and you go pick them up take them to your car where is is parked, start car with new keys and have them drive it to your house where you can return them to their point of pick up? It’s a no-brainer

@@pual_jmr5922I used to work for a municipal fleet mangement. Our Officers had to come get us whenever they locked their keys up in a Black & White. When I went to bail them out they would always say "I would hate to see you in my driveway" because I was so fast at getting in. I would always say I would hate to get caught in their driveway.

If you can get the window down, a hose can be used to force cool air into the vehicle until you can open thw door. Seconds count.

Make sure to always have an extra person to roll the window down and make it look like u did something

Yeah, this method will work, if this happens while U are parked in a Home Depot or Walmart parking lot. ..Who drives or walks around with 3 plungers just in case for emergencies. 🤔I don't even think most professional plumbers travels 3 of them.
