Those mega tail wags from Bailey were just the CUTEST

The best part was seeing you and Bailey and Elle all together at the end. May work for a very big breed, cool climates and/or multiple dogs. However the price and footprint make it a hard sell.

I used to have 2 dogs that looked exactly like yours. Seeing this makes me miss them. It looks comfy, but not $400 comfy.

Bailey is so adorable she still has the heart and spirit of a puppy! I have a very similar dog bed around the same size but mine came from L.L. Bean and cost around $300 but the whole thing is not plush it’s made out of super durable ripstop canvas for those types of dogs that like to scratch the bed to make it comfortable for themselves

For the first time assembly put it together before it decompresses then set aside for the 24 hours. I did the same type of thing about 15 years ago to keep grandkids warm during a 10 day ice storm with no power.

To be technical, the hissing is the air from your house entering into the vacuumed bag. You're safe 👍

Awww it was so cute how excited Bailey was over the bed. And whenever she was resting against James I got the warm fuzzies 🥰

Love my Plufl. It was hard to assemble but it is very comfortable. It's great to snuggle in and slide your feet under the bolster. My pup loves it. Worst part is getting out of it.

My cats let me nap in their bed....which is of course *was* my human bed 😅

I loved how the person was in the bed and the dog was on the couch for a while! I would have used this when my dogs were too old to get on the bed with me anymore and I wanted some snuggle time with them.

Tell he truth now, middle of the night Bailly is like "dude you snore, I'm outta here" ;-)

I loved seeing Bailey and your little dog, Ellie. I think the bed is big enough for both of them. Maybe during the colder winter months. The $400 would be better spent towards a new bed for me, which I need to get. Thanks for the review, James!!! 😊

u can use it for dogs the but the people who went on shark tank say its for humans so while yes it has dog bed in the name and u csn use it for dogd it is a dog shaped bed for humans

I have never laughed so hard at Bailey and her enthusiasm! Her tail says it all! As for me, since I’m just shy of 5’ tall, this would probably be a comfy fit; but, I’m a hot sleeper, and I could immediately tell that the soft fabric of the outer shell would be way too warm for me. Thanks for this review.

Great bed for really big dogs like Great Danes and Giant Schnauzers.

all I can imagine is Bailey wondering why, after all these years, you want to sleep in her new, extra large dog bed with her, you never have before! 😂 I love it, I can see me laying in there with my sons 90 lb pittie, my 2-35 pound rescues, and our new 4 pound chihuahua/terrier foster that I already know we are keeping 😅. Just a cuddle spot… If they let me in cuz they already sleep all together on our bed regularly.

Bailey is such a sweetheart. That tailwag is a surefire sign she is a happy dog.

When I was out of college, I bought a rattan Papasan chair from Pier 1 Imports. The rattan disintegrated rather quickly, but I kept the cushion for years. I was very happy to lay on it in the floor, especially after brain surgery. This bed reminds me of that cushion, but $400 is what I just paid for work on my car and I wouldn't spend it on a big pillow.

Bailey is such a good girl! She always makes me smile when she makes an appearance. Look at that happy little tail!

A couple of my hounds would be ALL about this, a couple others would be like, "um y?...y u here?" 😂

Dude, if Bailey gets any cuter my head may explode. She is just so sweet. Just because she's so happy I really hope it was worth the 400.00. Elle is a cutie too. Even if you only use it to snuggle with them and give them a bit of extra love it's a neat thing. I do agree about that price. That's a bit steep.

Considering I have two dogs that absolutely LOVE to cuddle, I think this might just be perfect for me. Especially since I love large pillows, I'm short, and I like sleeping on more firm surfaces anyway due to my back.

This would be great for someone with an extremely large dog or dogs. I've really wanted one myself but I don't think it's quite large enough for me. I'd rather get a gigantic plush double size bean bag like a Lovesac. Also I already downsized to a twin xl bed & have a ton of plushy blankets I've been known to use as an alternative bedsheet. Though honestly I prefer a clean sheet & then to wrap myself in the plushy blanket. I still think I'd love to have this.

This is one review that we will need to see your update on it later on down the road. I'd say if Bailey keeps on using it as a bed, then it was worth it. That said, I see that people with small spaces (IE an apartment) would not want this. This thing would take up most of my available floor space.

For 400 bucks you are better off buying a actual memoryfoam matress folding it in half and using sheets on it. Dog beds are so overprized for what you get.

My friend buys yard-sale suitcases to use as dog beds, and the pups seem to be very happy.

Certainly wouldn't work for me being 6'4" lol. And way too large for my 22lb Eskimo pomeranian. It's a neat concept, but requires a very specific use case in my opinion.

I don't know... if I ever had an occasion to go glamping, I'd bring it along. The handles make it convenient to carry to the car. Add plushy blankets of course! My dog might like it, although she never stays in her pet bed long. She prefers my bed.

Your dog is so happy. I swear that dog is totally amused with that but likes the couch better.

I have a $300 "bean bag" chair (it's actually shredded memory foam but it looks and functions as a bean bag chair. It doubles as a queen size bed (and is quite comfortable). I've slept on it, with no issues. And honestly, the price is like "damn that's expensive" but then you're like "but it'll last a long time, it's washable and it's super comfortable for you and your pets". Personally, I'd go for the bean bag chair over that dog bed.

Owning a English Mastiff we've never found an actual bed that can support his weight for a extended period of time. (You don't want giant breed dogs in general laying on hard surfaces). I feel like this would have been a good choice early on. Now he almost exclusively lays on the couches and our bed. Which was never intended. Had we had this earlier I think he would have been okay.

Those factory bags have had the air sucked out of them, so the hissing you are hearing is from your nice clean house air going into the bags as you are opening them-not the reverse. Good review as always, have a nice day!

I am aware he was likely speaking without thinking, and probably understands the basic physics at play, but you-on the other hand-seem entirely oblivious as to why someone could make a comment on it, tongue-in-cheek or otherwise. I'm not sure you are equipped to speak to what "everyone" knows, given your batting average thus far.

Oh my, Bailey’s tail says it all! She was wagging almost from the shoulders back! I could see this maybe if you have multiple dogs or if your big dog thinks they’re a lapdog and wants to sit on you while you you watch TV, but I wouldn’t spend the night in it. You’ll have to do some updates (before the 1 year review) to let us know if Bailey and Elle continue to use it. Id also love to hear what your kids think of this thing.

im autistic and have scoliosis so id love too. most people would but a thing people with autism or adhd do is lay on the floor or sometimes get a big dog bed as its more comfy for them and with my scoliosis my back wpuld very much appreciate it sleeping in that

It's certainly Bailey approved, but it's very expensive for something that will probably get only infrequent use. Disassembly for washing it would be a pain.

I am curious if you could have returned it if Bailey didn’t approve? I wonder if she would continue to use it throughout the Summer or if she will choose the cool tile floor?

My wife at 4' 11" and our 50 lb goldendoodle would love this especially in fall and winter. I already don't like it for the $400.00 purchase price but would even hate it more do the size/ foorprint it would take up in any room in our house.

Bailey turned into a puppy with her excitement about the bed! I knew she was running off to grab a toy to enjoy time with you! 💜💜💜

I bought donut beds for my dogs for waaay less but of course way smaller. They're meant for dogs with anxiety and let me tell you my anxious dog slept for so long I had to check to make sure he was still alive. This bed looks just as comfy but seems more trouble than it's worth.

For $400 it ought to be a few inches longer. I saw a 5'4 person say it wasnt quite long enough to get comfy so that eliminates a large segment of the population. I'd get if I had an XL dog though.

I believe that Bailey is going to have to give the bed over to Elle because you know tiny dogs rule 😂
