You have a great attitude towards all of the comments I've come across on your channel, as well as the one you mentioned in this video. Glad to see there are people out there that can take feedback without immediately becoming defensive and nasty.

I remember as a kid in the U P of Michigan in the 70’s, shovel the driveway, dark,cold, way too early. Had it finished and the road plow came by and pushed it back in on me. Sucks being a kid at times 😢. LOL . Moved away fast, now in Texas lol 😊

Once you push snow in a loader, you’ll never go back to a truck and plow. Plow trucks are inefficient. They are good if you have to get to an open up quickly but that’s honestly where the advantages stop. A Deere 244 and a metalpless will finish a lot exponentially faster. I get that if you’ve already got trucks it makes sense but in snow removal, efficiency is everything. Also another note: a loader will need a lot less maintenance in the long run.

As explained in the video...They are very efficient for our properties and logistics, They are making money, and we have had basically 5 push events this season. We don't get hammered with snow like Wisconsin used to years ago. Also I'm taking my kids out for lunch today in my truck that made me money last week Thanks for watching!@@countrycaretakerpropertyse7981 🙂

@@countrycaretakerpropertyse7981 Keep in mind that he is located in southern Wisconsin not really big snow country. The truck plows are adequate for most of the snow storms that they get down there. That said, a loader would have been nice for the amount they were pushing.
We’re a truck based company. I get it and feel the same way. Good truck operating in this video.

Line up 10 lots around town, loader vs plow and then tell me a loader is faster . You’re set up with that pull plow looks like the Way to go .💯

loader would never be faster. I run a cat 980 loaders are made to move mounds of heavy material short distances.
Where I live, we use a couple farmers with the big John Deere tractors, buy them a pusher and have them push Walmart lots etc...

I love Western plows, I've used them since 1993. Personally I wouldn't be buying new lights for the plow. I can't believe this is your first plow that the lenses have broken, most of them do around here. I have to believe it is the cold. Your's may have lasted well because your park your trucks inside. Also I doubt you will be able to get the 3/4" nut off the underside of the light. It's a carriage bolt set in plastic, great design. I plowed from 1988-2019 but finally the stress and people's expectations got to me.

Awesome video, if your ever in Orchard Park NY , Bills Country bring your plow truck , had 5' of snow in 3 days out here, it was fun plowing w/ my Snowdogg plows . I actually was using a 6 1/2' plow on a JK Wrangler that never got stuck. The 2 Silverados got workouts doing the parking lots. Last year we went through 7' of snow followed by 5' snow in a blizzard in Buffalo, NY which is 20 min. from my house. It's fun but can be a bitch when parts start breaking. Love the new LED lights I installed a few months ago . Halogen are cheaper , but they suck. Keep plowing & be safe.

I agree with the loader comment. You really need to get a loader or 2 and you will change your tune. We thought like you but we don't anymore. We replaced 4 to 5 plow trucks with 2 loaders. I did think about your services area as well. Trucks are as much as a CAT 906 - 908, or similar compact loader especially once you put 2 plows on them.
@pagelservices

Maybe in the future we can add a couple more loaders. But every one of those trucks we need for the summer. We have multiple services we offer and use them daily. But fingers crossed more loaders in the future! Thanks for watching!
Use electrical die grease. And squeeze the connections together inside the connector.

I'm about 3 hours north of you and my boss owns a couples loaders and 580 and other machines and the big machines are for winter only, but with nobody wanting to work a lot of our machines sit and we have sub contractors with loaders and tractors. we really only use them to load salt at shop and to haul snow and push snow back these days. I mostly use my truck and some skids on sights sidewalk machines/shovel. my boss mostly goes site to site and runs ventracs on sidewalks since we dont have the man power.

@pagelservices We use ventracs for walkways. It's Deffintly a game changer stuff that used to take an hr to shovel or snowblow takes 5 minutes now. We use the stand up ones if you got the enclosed cab ride ones plenty of attachments to use them all year

The amount of fuel you’d torch thru driving loaders would buy a few transmissions for that fleet! I do have a question tho. When you were plowing the cutaway vid after loader comment. Why don’t you plow in reverse when you back up for another front push?
