Plowing or plowing is the oldest and most frequently performed basic soil preparation operation in which the soil is mixed, broken up, turned and loosened. Meaning of plowing:
- Turning the soil dump - the upper part of the topsoil is moved to the bottom of the furrow and the lower part to the surface.
- Incorporation of plants and weeds that emerged after the substrate - organic and industrial fertilizers, or green fertilizers and all post-harvest residues that were not incorporated with the substrate are also incorporated.
- By turning the soil mound, plant pests and diseases are destroyed - at the bottom of the furrow, they have minimum conditions for life.
