    I was at the Wynn tonight. Very dead. Sad. This is Vegas and there were only two 1-2 PLO games and one of them was short.

    The 4s full hand was a little rough. Even with a capable player, check potting into 2 people is rarely a bluff. The call is more reasonable heads up but not a fan multi-way. Appreciate you going through the good and the bad. The in depth analyses have been great!

    I only go 2 buy ins in 5,5 rock so i try never to get rocked. Makes for some early days but less pain.

    Check/pot on the turn or river is nearly always the nuts or nut full house. The fact there was another player in the hand strongly points towards this not being a bluff. Even if the player is more than capable.

    Downswings are the worst. Been flopping monsters and get outdrawn every hand or make the minimum.

    Two callers on the turn is a huge red flag. Hell, even two callers on the flop is scary with a paired board. I have to wonder how smart his call with JJ was, but clearly it worked. Assuming you have competent opponents, checking the river seems best. They can't both have a 4. So what does the guy who does not have a 4 have? He either has brain damage or something that is better than a 4J.

    Just getting to the first hand, wow what a terrible turn size why on earth bet pot? Apply max pressure? This is a lock down card you are only getting called by better and draws are going to fold for a small sizing, so I don’t get your logic.

  • @ploprofessor

    @ploprofessor

    Жыл бұрын

    Yeah I could see a smaller bet on the turn like 250 (1/3 pot size bet) - getting draws to fold….. idk. I also don’t mind polarizing especially early in a session because when I do have the nut full house and bet pot I’m likely to get called off light. Ty for the comment though and Ty for watching!

    Not really sure why we are donking flop on the 2nd hand with AT85... We definitely do not have a range advantage on this board as the preflop caller OOP, we are devoid of aces here, betting doesn't really accomplish anything. If we get raised on the flop, we hate life. Would prefer check/call flop and then check/jam turn

    Wouldn't hate 4-betting this pre online, in a live game it's probably punting and opponent dependent

    the last hand where you thought he had kings there zero chance, why would u snap call when youre torching every set and youre only at risk of ten nine or ace ten but when u snap call u tell those hands ur jacked to the tits and when u guys are playing this deep theres no way he would do something so foolish, he probs had king queen for top two if hes folding kings on that river when losing to two hands then you need to question why youre calling with fours full when youre beat by more hands, nobody bluffs omaha btw and my primary example is that u called with fours full even though fours full was the weakest nut hand its basically bottom two in hold em in a three bet pot and the board is ace king high and u load double barreled on the turn.
