To be honest more people are going to look into Plini after the Doja Cat performance, that's prog metal being put right in the spotlight which doesn't happen often if at all.

Yes. I was never even angry that they used it. I was angry that they did not even ask plini's permission. Now that it has million views and much criticism THEN they actually start trying to right the wrong. Well better late than never

@@chadmarx7718 this song has more views than the Doja cat song, also they’re both different enough for them not to involve plini the arranger gave him credit and said he meant for it to sound like plini they already gave him credit for that part and plini wasn’t the only one that inspired the arrangement that doja did

@@eVoxlilbigslash dude i hope you realize that a million views in 4 years is completely different from a million views in 2 days and a half. With that being said I think I agree that the "stolen bit" was way too short compared to the full song to even ask for permission. Artists quote other artists they like all the time, the real problem was that after being called out and admitting he took the riff idea from Plini, he doubled down and mocked him with another post. So not a professional behavior at all

3:28. My goodness. So many musical things happening at that moment. The driving half time in 4, the tone, a tasteful bass drop, the rhythm guitar magic, but frick this dude places his themes in THE BEST places. The man is a melodic and motif genius.
