Only a hop, skip, and a juimp away on the Thruway! My brother moved to Gloversville and took my Mom with him a year ago, which is the closest I get to Albany these days!

Once you set up the HDHomeRun to your Plex, does your PC need to remain on in order to access the HDHomeRun live tv on a different device, such as an iPhone? Thanks in advance.

If your PC is the device running Plex Server, then yes, it has to be on to access your HDHomerun tuner through any Plex client app. If you shut down your PC that's running Plex, your tuner is still availble on all streaming ecosystems except for Roku devices via the native HDHomerun app.

I can share libraries between Channels DVR, Plex and Jellyfin on my NAS.

THIS DOESN'T WORK!!!! You titled this with exactly what I'm looking for, but your guide ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT EXPLAIN HOW TO DO THIS!!!! You specifically show to go into settings - live tv & DVR. When I go there, the ONLY button I have is "Get a Plex Pass". Your video is titled "...without a Plex Pass". Yet, when I try this, I have no button like you show to "Set Up Plex DVR", only the "Get a Plex Pass" button. YOUR GUIDE IS A LIE!!!!!! IT DOES NOT WORK!!!!! STOP WASTING ALL OUR VALUABLE TIME WITH YOUR MISINFORMATION AND LIES!!!!!!!!
