I just got my PS4 VR and I wondered about adjusting the screen for recording. I previewed my recording and it wasn't giving me the fully screen. Looked like all the corners were all in black. I will check this out on my ps4. Hope it works. :)

I have to do that too. glasses can be off, but the processing unit must work in order to see anything on tv. probably that's normal

The psvr box is a passthrough, no need to change any cable to play nonvr games after it's all setup.

One other tidbit, you can play non be games in the headset too, and it looks like you're playing on a wall sized tv, but the visual quality will be a little lower than playing on a tv.

the camera and the split thing

I haz two questions. How many power outlets do you need (including those for controllers) I’m guessing it’s 2. And what’s the total cable length from link box to headset?

You need two ac plugs for the ps4 and vr processor, then 1 for the tv, one for a surround sound audio processor if you have it and one if you have a charging base for controllers. I didn't measure the HUD cable, but if I guessed I'd say 12 to 15 feet easily.

@@politewify if I understand what you're asking... yes the HUD has two cables, an HDMI cable and a power cable that are plugged into the vr processor. The vr processor plugs into the ps4 via the HDMI output and a USB port. The processor has it's own power adapter as well, and can plug into your tv where the ps4 plugged in before you plugged in the psvr processor. It all looks far more complicated than it really is. It took me about 10 minutes to unpack everything brand new, then about another 10 minutes to route all the cables around my tv and entertainment stand before plugging everything in. All the required cables were included and I only looked at the instructions once to determine how best to connect the camera to the included stand and mount it on my tv. If you have anymore questions, fire away and I'll do my best to help.

What if I wear glasses, do I need to take them off? On my Samsung VR, I take off my glasses and I can see the screen clear OR does it matter? Will it adjust and fit with my glasses on?

I do not wear glasses but it is shown in the manual that if you have them, you can keep them on. do not know if it is comfortable

So, wait. Will this overall take up 2 HDMI slots on my tv? One from the ps4, one from the psvr unit? Or does it all then go from the psvr unit into only one HDMI slot on my tv?
