Astro Bot is finally let go from the VR and gimmick shackles and on the elite platformer level of Mario, Sonic and Crash. The Playroom was epic and still one of the best games on the PS5.

If they didn't keep making one single AAA release every 1-2years they could just have hired inde devs to make games for them, and sped up their library of games but no, they need their precious live service games to succeed so they can earn their money back from the Hell Divers 2 fiasco. Concord is gonna fail hard because its not your average original idea. Foam star failed because it was your average splatoon rip off that very few played. Concord is basically overwatch/tf2 again! just like marvel rivals. The arena shooter is basically a dying genre. No one has good ideas to pitch anymore.

The new Astro game was the only good thing they showed this event. And to think that instead of sitting and watching this, I could go sleep 40 mins earlier, because this event started at midnight here in Europe...

Tbh, gaming these days doesn't feels the same anymore. Instead of trying to find new games, I actually play old games. Old games had potential and still has it today. A lot of people may not agree with this, but I am an old school. For short, old games are just more better than new games.

@@jacksoncabrera7236 True. I grew up on Xbox but have never been a stingy die hard fan that gets offended when someone says the console I play on is trash. I mostly played games that people would usually play on their PC, maybe like 1 Xbox exclusive and that’s it. PCs were just more complicated to me when I was younger, I couldn’t afford it, and I didn’t think I needed one. But when I got older, I realized that I would be able to play so much better competitively with a higher FPS and lower input delay, and that I would be able to do so many more other things (some things that aren’t even related to gaming) on a PC. So then I eventually got a really good gaming laptop as a PC.

Dude that's so hilarious and honestly I had similar reaction looking at Astro Bot gameplay trailer. Imagine 44 years old dude jumping with joy.

No, not by a long margin, Sony is greedy and scummy but not to the extent of ubisoft they have good potential they just don't want to use it. And I understand hate towards sony for the Helldivers situation but two important things need to be addressed. First Helldivers was never popular to begin with and I guarantee you that nobody expected Helldivers 2 to be this popular as a result Sony's natural instinct for greed kicked in forcing everyone to acquire ps accounts. And secondly this is Sony's first real dive into the pc side of things so it makes sense that a money greedy corporation like Sony would not understand how this side of the gaming industry operates to begin with. Compared to ubisoft actively killing all there franchises and ip's, pissing off everybody and not backing down adding subscription after subscription to their full priced games micro transactions included, ubisoft is a far greater villain than sony could ever dream to be.

Nice video but guys please don't expect many showcase as state of play occurs every few moths unlike big showcase which occurred in past I think state of play was okay the expectations here are too much. Wait for the developers to cook then get a half baked/incomplete games. And out of the expected 14 games 10 were out of questions to show anything only GTA 6, Astro Bot, Spiderman 2 DLC could be expected Naughty dog had people fired recently so certainly nothing from them even if they have new IP in development as it might scraped

'Monster Hunter Wilds' was the only worthwhile part out of this event for me. I don't have anything to say about the other else besides that were shown.

Aint nobody gonna care about marel rivals and concord, overwatch already gets alot of bad rep and sony thinks to announce two of them? Both these games ethier get shutdown before release or die during it.

Astro Bot was the only one here that caught my attention pretty well eventhough Im not a Kid anymore. Its like a Crash Bandicoot of the 90s times era.
