Sony is definitely an innovation company. I've never seen planar magnetic drivers in something so small. I'm glad another company is making effort towards a new and potentially better low latency frequency. Besides Bluetooth. The tech is only going to get better from here. Love sony everything

That’s going to be in the PS5 3.0 which comes before the PS5 Pro.

Can you use these one at a time, like airpods, that also supports mic?

So basically no test whatsoever on latency against its own Bluetooth connection or against any fast aptx Bluetooth buds. Gotta love the reviews these days.

On certain aspects of this review you also have to consider these were made for gaming specifically not for outdoors activities or to take on travel so the the lifespan of the charge is reasonable and the fact that it's a big case shouldn't matter because they're more for homebody people to use while gaming they can be used to take out but this was not the main purpose of these earbuds which people need to understand when it comes down to the style and size of the earbud

The problem is that these are technically the only earbuds that can work with the portal outside your home so yes it should be prepared for outdoor or out of home use if using your portal

@@teddydelgado9968nope, not officially that I’ve seen, I’m still researching a workaround but because the portal has link instead of Bluetooth, you can’t use anything other than hardwired headphones or the pulse explore smh

Do this headset work with ps4 as well when it comes to using it on my own ps4

So far enjoying them especially single player games or easy use with psvr2 headset

Using a pillow awake or while sleeping? If sleeping then Bose Sleep Buds are amazing. They don’t play music they just have white noise tracks

Here's hoping the Pulse Elite turns out better :/

Pulse Elite Headset Review When?!

All these complaints & it still gets a 7

If you got these, get new ear tips, you will thank me later, the ear tips provided are worhhless. If you get noice isolated eartips you will hear the bass much better and as well as the sound stage. They more you close out outside sound the better these sound, sony blew it when they delivered these with those cheap eartips. Get the Asla sedna earfits. They are amazing.

Just preordered it. Sony got me (again).

Sound quality wise the planar magnetic drivers should be better, but battery life and comfort is better with the Inzone.

Do y’all think Sony will license out the PlayStation Link tech for 3rd party companies? Not sure if this gen 1 series is the one for me considering the trade offs mentioned in the review

No one has mentioned the poor distance connection. My pulse headphoes would stay connected at quite the distance from the PS5. You walk 5 feet from the PS5 with ear buds you lose connection. And the random disconnects are ridiculous. While brief. Its annoying. And the comfort level is poor IMO. Im a bit dissapointed.

But does the mute button on the controller mute the mic???

The button on the controller mutes you.

"We" had to give up a lot? Also, don't really understand the disconect between Sony and PlayStation in making redundant products. Instead of having one lineup for PS and everything else (inzone), they instead choose to be confusing.

Why a dongle?

I’m using razer & it lets me use it on the portal

inzone buds have weird bluetooth protocol which is not supported by 99% smartphones

I’ve seen a lot of complaints about the INZONE buds with the PS5. I’ve seen that mic quality sounds worse than the PS5 controller mic and the audio lacks almost any bass, and sounds poor altogether.

Sony always puts out super weird and bulky looking earbuds. They all look so top heavy, not just these PlayStation branded ones.

2 mins 11 seconds in and heard "for what it's worth" twice already.

Do they fall out?

5 hours is a deal breaker for me, esp with no ANC that is some shite battery life. Maybe the planar drivers take more energy than standard, but Maxwell are able to get 90h off a single charge.

Just came here for the '7'... And was not disappointed.

You should've put a spoiler warning for Spider-Man 2, it hasn't been out that long. You do say it's comically larger than AirPods Pro for example but you don't show the difference in the video, don't even clarify if the advertised battery life is accurate and if you have tested it, utterly unprofessional.

would recommend not putting the earbud all the way, it hurts if you use it for an extended period, while having just in place, works out well.
