After all my time in gaming have never experienced a new generation of consoles being so boring and disappointing. Barely touched my ps5 within the past 2 years it’s quite depressing.

So sad for London Studio! All they needed to do to sell 20 million copies was make a getaway remake! They didn't need to be shut down!!

If the Showcase doesn't get announced within the next 30 minutes I will be phoning Hiroki Totoki personally and telling him how much time is of the essence for PlayStation faithful. We are unhappy with the output, communication and results of PlayStation Studios over the past three years and right now is a true inflection point - it's put up or shut up time for PlayStation, and if they pull another 2023 Showcase then I think the brand is truly screwed. Stop with the PC, Multiplatform and Live Service nonsense and bring back greatness. Make PlayStation great again!

Update: I couldn't wait any longer, just phone Totoki and he's playing around with me. He told me sir this isn't Hiroki Totoki, this is Papa Gino's. I informed him that he couldn't fool me and I cursed at him several times and demanded the PlayStation Showcase. Stay tuned boys, I think my message got through to him. Let's get it.

They were working on a The Last of Us multiplayer live service game which was canceled. They were also affected by layoffs as the rest of the industry. We have no idea what they are currently working on since then.

i hope a showcase is soon becuase due to the long wait i wanna see atleast 3 or 4 1st party game 1 being wolverine and others being new IP

London Studio was a VR studio. But, they were working on a online non-vr shooter live service game instead, which was canceled and eventually Sony closed the studio also due to VR sales not being great as well. Their closure is the result of Sony's push into live service games. Sony should have put that studio to a much better use.

I think both consoles offer something. The Last of Us, Ragnorok, Returnal, Final Fantasy 7, Stellar Blade, Hellblade 2 & soon, Stalker 2. Upcoming for Sony, Silent Hill 2 & Phantom Blade, both looking great. Pragmata for everyone. I'm looking forward to it all

You didn't mention the heavy atk feature for Jiyan which synergizes really good with Mortefi outro skill. 1 When not in ULT you hold heavy atk for 1 sec then let go and just repeat that. 2 in ULT you can hold heavy atk until ULT duration is over

F’in Xbots weakened our consumer rights and turned the FTC into a snot rag for their free COD on Gamepass. Every now and then I wonder if my passion for video games is dying because of the terrible console generation we’ve had and then there’s a game that comes along to remind me why I love games. First was Elden ring. Then it was Alan wake 2. PlayStation have done nothing of the sort. At least for me personally.

Exactly, all they were doing were niche titles like Singstar & Eyetoy pet. They did the less heralded The Getaway: Black Monday. Team Soho were the ones responsible for the original The Getaway, which MBG was showing in his video. I get that Team Soho was closed & merge with SCEE to become London Studios. But a lot of the people left, including the director Brendan McNamara, who founded Team Bondi & gave us LA Noire. So what exactly was London Studios doing, cause Eight Days got cancelled, as well as The Getaway 3.

Showhcase or not Sony has already announced, via their financial report, that there will be no major first party games until mid 2025 if not beyond.

i had 33 hrs on Riders Republic. Today it was showing just 13 hrs. But who cares 😂
