i went for these instead of the normal paint versions. i probably would have totally skipped these if they didn't have some cool paint variants. for 18 bucks it was an easy impulse buy😁 i also got the hollow earth set

So far, I haven't really cared for the Playmates toys, but this two pack looks pretty cool. I like the darker paint scheme on Skar King, and Kong looks good despite the glove thing.

On my copy of the Kong figure with his accessory the bio mimic heav there was a hidden detail where the arm of the bio mimic heav could detach.

I think skar is better suited as a Kong only villain, but hopefully I'll be proven wrong when the movie comes out. The colors on these look cool so I ordered the set, I'm excited!

I remember when i was a kid playmates released a skull island playset for 50 bucks for the 05 movie. Plastic stuff to support the toys. Wish they would just release a similar one for the hollow earth instead of the cardboard stuff

I rly wish! The cardboard stuff is rly flimsy and does not fit well into my collection so it just ends up back in the box lol

Since the Targets and Walmarts I go to don't have Skar King as an individual figure, it's the only way that I have to get Skar King

Could be! I think its just some Hollow Earth glow, like the Hong Kong battle figures we saw for GvK. But I do think Kong will take some damage this movie!

Happy new year. Here in Germany I am since about 2 hours in 2024. Thanks for the video. This Kong looks really nice. The Skar King looks a little bit disappointed for me. Something different: I already own the SUPER7 set Biollante versus Godzilla since a longer time. Yesterday I created enough space in my showcase to display both figures. This Biollante figure is what I expected to be. Not the best figure from SUPER7, but not bad. This SUPER7 Godzilla was really a surprise in a good way for me. Between tail and body I have really no gap (I pushed this tail hard into the body). In every position this tail fits perfect and stays in this position. I really expected this SUPER7 Godzilla to be not so good. Happy enough this isn't the case. Maybe now I also want to buy the SUPER7 Heat Ray Godzilla (1989) with the glowing atomic breath and the glowing spines. You already own this figure. Best regards Chris

@@OhhMyGodzilla Thanks, man. Today I can still chill and relax a little bit. Tomorrow is my first working day in the new year. I have high hopes for the SUPER7 Godzilla line in the future. Now I will order this SUPER7 Heat Ray Godzilla. I always wanted to own a Godzilla with glowing spines + atomic breath. I go now to BBTS and order this figure. With shipping and taxes and everything this figure is for me from BBTS still cheaper as here in Germany from any online-shop. And BBTS is really a safe way. I also have this SUPER7 set (1200 degrees Godzilla versus Destroyah) on my list. All the best from me, too

I saw the basic 6 inch figures are on preorder on Amazon, but they’re 24 dollars CAD 😭 compared to the 10 dollars USD that makes no sense. There is no picture on the website of the figure so I’m unsure if it’s the battle roar version by accident, but I really hope it is. Cuz 25 bucks for a 10 dollar figure is insane.
